Importing an episode uses two things
- Transcription hours The episode's length, rounded up to the minute, comes out of a monthly allowance.
- Credits for the note Writing the note uses credits, like any other note LunaNotes generates.

One episode becomes a transcript and a note
The audio is transcribed in the language it is spoken in, then written up as a titled note with headed sections. The transcript stays on the episode's page.
The note is an ordinary note in your library. Make a flashcard deck or a diagram from it, or ask the Assistant about it next to everything else you have saved.

Where it stops
The edges, so none of them surprise you halfway through an episode.
- Episodes up to 4 hours
- Longer episodes can't be imported. They're refused before any time is used.
- Long episodes, shorter notes
- The note is written from roughly the first hour of the transcript. The full transcript is still saved on the episode.
- Published shows only
- Shows come from PodcastIndex, an open index of public podcast feeds. You can't add a private feed or upload your own audio.
- A failed import costs nothing
- If transcription fails, its minutes go back to your allowance.
- Out of credits
- The episode is still transcribed and its transcript saved. Only the note is skipped.
