AI credits are tokens that power intelligent features like auto-generating notes, creating diagrams, making flashcards, and transcribing YouTube videos. Each AI action consumes a specific number of credits. All other features—like storing notes, organizing folders, and manual editing—are unlimited.
On the Free plan, you'll need to upgrade to continue using AI features. On paid plans (Starter and Plus), you'll automatically purchase credits at your plan's overage rate: Starter ($0.10/credit monthly, $0.08 annual), Plus ($0.08/credit monthly, $0.06 annual). You stay in control with usage notifications.
No, credits reset monthly for all plans. Your credit allowance refreshes at the start of each billing cycle, and unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
