Four ways to ask about the same lecture
Pick a format when you set up the deck. The AI uses only facts stated in your material, writes fewer cards rather than weak ones, and removes near-duplicate questions before you see the deck.
A question with four options
In Quiz you pick one of the four and see straight away if it was right. In Review the same card works as a flip card: question first, answer on the back.
A statement with the key word taken out
You recall the missing word, then turn the card to check. Good for terms and definitions you need to produce, not just recognise.
Three to five items to put in order
For processes and sequences. The AI writes one only when your source actually gives an order, so you never memorise a sequence it made up.
All the formats in one deck
Each card takes the format that suits its fact. Order-the-steps cards appear only where the content supports them.
Each card comes back just before it fades
A card you get right waits longer every time: 3 days, then 7, 16 and 35. Miss it and it starts over tomorrow. Your time goes to what you don't know yet.

Set up a deck on one screen
Up to 10 sources, 10 to 25 cards, three difficulties, four formats, in any of nine languages.
Drafts before the deck
New cards arrive as drafts with the answers hidden. Keep, edit or drop each one, then save.
Fix one card, not the whole deck
Edit it by hand, or ask the AI to make it harder, easier, rephrase it or improve the wrong options. You compare the proposal with the current card before you accept.

Generate more adds cards with the same settings, without counting as a new deck.

A video page, a set of selected files or a saved page makes a 10-card deck from one button. In the YouTube sidebar, LunaNotes offers a deck when you reach the end of a video.
A day in Review
The Review page gathers what's due across all your decks. You turn each card over, grade it, and stop when the pile is empty.

What people ask before they try it.
No. A deck is made only when you ask: from the Flashcards page, a note, a video, your files, a saved page, the YouTube sidebar, or by asking the Assistant.
Yes. A deck is charged by what the AI actually used, usually about 15–20 credits. Improving a single card with AI costs about 1 credit or a little more. Studying and reviewing your cards is free.
Free includes 5 new decks a month and Starter 20. Plus has no limit. Adding cards to an existing deck with Generate more does not count as a new deck.
Yes. Cards are written from the video's transcript, from its page in LunaNotes or from the YouTube sidebar in the extension. For very long videos, the app tells you if only part of the transcript was covered.
Yes. In the browser extension's note menu, export a note's cards as an Anki-ready CSV. Settings → Export also downloads all your cards as Excel, CSV, Markdown or PDF.
Yes. Decks in a shared workspace can be studied by its members. Viewers can study a deck but not edit it. Each person's review schedule stays their own.
Every deck is saved in your LunaNotes workspace, so you can study it in the web app or the browser extension on any device you sign in from.
