Save any page. Find it again by what it said.

Save from the toolbar or the right-click menu, file it in a collection, tag it and note why it mattered. When it's time to study, turn the page into a note, flashcards or a diagram.

One click saves it, wherever you are

The page lands in your library at once. Its description and cover fill in a moment later, so saving never waits on the page.

  • From the toolbar

Click the LunaNotes icon and press Save. Or turn on “Save the page when I open the extension” and the click itself is the save.

  • From the right-click menu

Save page to LunaNotes, or right-click a link and save it without opening it first.

  • Filed as you save

Pick a collection, or type a new name and create it right there. Add tags, and a line of your own notes. No AI, no credits.

  • Nothing gets lost

The toolbar icon marks pages you already saved. A save that can't reach us waits and retries in the background.

Filed, not piled

Collections nest as deep as you need, and anything you don't file waits in Unsorted. On Starter and Plus, Auto-filing sorts it for you a moment after you save.

Bookmarks use the same tags as your notes, so one tag finds the article and what you wrote about it.

Only your words
It picks from the collections and tags you already have. It never invents new ones.
Only what you didn't sort
It files a page still in Unsorted with no tags, never one you sorted yourself.
One click back
Every auto-filed page is marked, and Undo auto-filing returns it to Unsorted.
No credits
Included in Starter and Plus. Saving more pages never costs more.
  • The text is kept when you save. Up to 50,000 characters of the page's readable text, captured right after the save.
  • Pages behind a login have no text to read, so they are found by title and your notes.

4 saved pages for “grid cells”

  • Grid cell en.wikipedia.org In the title
  • The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2014 nobelprize.org In your note
  • Entorhinal cortex en.wikipedia.org On the page
  • Place cell en.wikipedia.org On the page

A library that stays worth searching

Bookmark folders rot: years of exports, the same link three times, pages that no longer exist. These are the three chores that stop it.

  • Bring your old bookmarks

Export from Chrome, Firefox, Raindrop or Pocket and import the file. Folders become collections, Raindrop's tags carry over, and pages you already saved are skipped. Up to 5,000 links per file.

  • Clean up the doubles

The Duplicates page groups pages saved more than once, even when the links differ by tracking codes or a trailing slash. Keep the oldest copy with every copy's tags and move the rest to the trash, where they can be restored. One group at a time, or all at once.

  • Know when a page is gone

On Plus, a daily check works through your saved pages. A page that is gone is marked Link broken, one that didn't answer (often a login wall) Couldn't reach, and the text captured when you saved it stays readable.

From saved to studied

A saved page is a source, like a video or a PDF. When you're ready to learn from it, use what it says.

  • Turn it into a note

The AI reads the page and writes a structured note, for about 5 credits. The bookmark stays put and links to its note.

  • Flashcards or a diagram

Open either from the bookmark's menu and the page is already picked as the source.

  • Or straight from the page

In the extension, Notes, Flashcards or Diagram from this page saves the page and makes them in one go. The cards land in Review, ready to study.

  • Ask about what you saved

On Starter and Plus, the Assistant answers from your saved pages too, and its citations point at the page.
