Homeland is the Most Broken System in Anipop & How to Use It Properly
Most players treat Homeland as a cute side farm, plant wheat, pet your Animo, but it's actually a passive endgame engine. Hidden inside your RV is a free Anipod factory, a 25,000 EXP fruit, a guaranteed Prismana egg, crops worth 450,000 coins each, and a passive egg machine that can copy Prismana, Sparkling, Alpha, and Umbral traits. The catch: 90% of all upgrade costs are crammed into the last six levels.
There's also a limited-time Harvest Moon Festival running right now, with wonder eggs, dream sparks, five exclusive furniture sets, and a daily gift event. Most players either can't access it yet or waste event currency on seeds instead of furniture. Here's everything you need to know.
How to Unlock Homeland
- Opens at character level 20 (Grade 2 Student)
- Start the quest "The Wondrous RV" from Fanny
- You need an Ember Pup during the tutorial to restore power
- The Homeland button (house icon with heart) sits next to your quest tracker, it starts grayed out with no on-screen prompt, so watch for it
- Register your RV at a park board, plant wheat, sell to Annie at the Home Co-op store
RV Level Scaling & Upgrade Roadmap
There are 20 RV levels with exponential cost scaling:
| RV Level | Cost (Home Coins) | Build Time | |----------|-------------------|------------| | 2 | 140 | 30 seconds | | 6 | 32,000 | 1.5 hours | | 10 | 510,000 | 3.5 hours | | 20 | 20.8 million | 12 hours |
Total cost to max: ~74 million home coins. Levels 15-20 alone cost ~67 million (90% of total). Total build timers: ~90 hours.
Key milestones to remember:
- RV 6 → Unlocks Trips (signal transmitter)
- RV 10 → Prismana Fenmain egg, Home Season (Harvest Moon Festival), habitability requirements start
- RV 12 → Electricity (power module)
Worker Efficiency: The Real Engine
Every animal has 13 homeland abilities (9 elemental + 4 general). Worker productivity scales dramatically:
| Ability Level | Workload/Minute | |---------------|-----------------| | 1 | 60 | | 2 | 75 | | 3 | 90 | | 4 | 105 |
Two 20% efficiency bonuses stack:
- Worker's ability level exceeds facility requirement
- Worker's personality matches facility
Best early workers:
- Glaci: Water 3, Ice 2, Hauling 3
- Shrubclaw: Earth 3 (perfect with Playful trait)
- Drupal: Dark + Leisure
- Turbo (Rainstorm form): Wind 3, Leisure 3, Lightning 2
Endgame workforce: Your Prismana forms have Level 4 abilities across the board.
Important: Workers can't be on your battle team. Catch duplicates for your workforce, don't bench main fighters.
The Bottleneck That Stalls Everyone: Processed Materials
From RV7 onward, upgrades need processed lumber and ore:
- Woodworking Bench (Artisanship): Wood blocks → Rough Lumber → Standard Planks → Lam beams → Densified Timber
- Chimney Kiln (Fire): Mineral Sand → Coarse Sifted Ore → Ore Brick → Refined Ore → Microcrystalline Ore Plate
Pro tip: Staff your bench and kiln before cooking stations. Process ahead of time, not just-in-time. Keep one of each at each level instead of upgrading duplicates, higher level buildings eat more electricity.
Farming: Where Coins Come From
20 field crops + 13 trees grow offline. Wheat trick: Basic seed gives 5 wheat/4 min. With Ecological Module at level 1, Quick Formula gives 42 wheat from one seed on a 20-minute timer.
Top earners per hour:
- Cocoa: ~2,790 home coins
- Orange Flour: ~2,760
- Coconut: ~2,640
- Strawberry: ~2,380 (with module recipe)
Temperature zones trick: Place heater and cooler so their ranges overlap, creates warm and cool zones for different crops. For a broader understanding of agricultural planning, check out the Comprehensive Guide to Crop Care and Maintenance for Grade 7.
Electricity (Unlocks at RV12)
- Most buildings: 15 power/level
- Mines, Wells, Anipod Maker, Dance Pad Polisher: 30 power/level
- Unused power → base production speed bonus up to 120%
- Over limit → speed drops below 100%
Best practice: Leave mines/wells on normal mode (too power-hungry). Run a lean grid.
Orders & Habitability
Order Board: Main income source. 9 orders max, new ones arrive at 4:00 AM/PM server time. 5 free refreshes daily from RV4. Prioritize: orders with byproducts, double/five-time rewards, and element gems.
Habitability: Need 13,000 at RV10, rising to 20,000 at RV20. Comes from furniture + animals. Sparkling/Prismana animals count for double (200 vs 100 points).
Home Index: Where Toolkits Come From
- 5 categories, max score ~25,300 points
- Need ~46 Modification Toolkits total (~24 from RV level-ups, ~22 from index milestones)
- Need index score of ~16,000 for all toolkits
- Cheapest way to push score: Block furniture (2 Bud Tickets = 6 index points)
- Most ignored category: Mutant plants, 120 entries worth 7,000+ points
Crop Mutations
- Base chance: 0.05% for huge variant
- Level 4 Plant Research Module: 0.1%
- Highest value: Huge+Colorful+Shining+Crystalline crop = 450,000 home coins
- Best move: Stockpile mutations until each is logged in Home Index
Harvest Moon Festival (Current Event)
Requirements: RV10, September 16 – October 27
Three stages:
- Harvest: Ended Oct 6
- Preparation: Oct 7-20 (Active now)
- Gathering: Oct 21-27
Event currency: Moonray Wheat (600/day from dailies + up to 750 with season orders)
Critical mistake to avoid: Furniture is 5x more efficient than seeds for earning Harvest Moon points!
- 1,000 wheat on furniture → ~11,600 points
- 1,000 wheat on seeds → ~2,200 points
Buy furniture, place it, and only buy seeds for quests and mutation hunting.
Festival quest line rewards:
- Grand Feast (Oct 17): 30 dishes (5 each of 6 dishes). Reward: Wonder egg
- Gathering (Oct 21-27): 1,200 habitability needed, 5 min 40 sec, 3 waves of gifts. Possible rewards: Dream sparks, wonder eggs
Prep now: You need Ember Pup, Celestice, Sparky for quest consultations. Set up sunlamp (lavender) and cold zone (maple syrup) for Grand Feast dishes.
The Most Underrated Feature: RV Trips
Unlocks at RV6 via signal transmitter. Send animals on trips:
- On Foot: 6 hours
- Adventure: 12 hours (unlocks RV11)
- Camping: 20 hours (unlocks RV16)
Returns: Regional specialties, held items (rare to legendary), and mysterious Animo eggs.
The broken part: Eggs can inherit the traveling animal's form and mutation, including Prismana, weather/region forms, Sparkling, Alpha, and Umbral traits. This is a passive way to farm copies of rare Animo without hunting. For more insight into passive systems and breeding, see No Man's Sky Beginner Series 2025: Exploring the Space Anomaly.
Limitations: Starters, Irisalis, Somniwing, and Baucis never bring back eggs. Send duplicates, not main team.
Quick Mistake Checklist
- ❌ No hauler → production stops
- ❌ Wrong job match → worker produces nothing
- ❌ Underleveled crews → can't run level 3 recipes
- ❌ Hungry workers → slowdown + sickness
- ❌ Processing just-in-time → hours of waiting
- ❌ Releasing Sparkling/Prismana → better used for habitability & trips
- ❌ Wasting event wheat on seeds → buy furniture first
- ❌ Buying Incubation Reaction Module early → spend toolkits on production modules
Priority Action List
- Unlock Homeland immediately at level 20
- Fill worker slots with hauler, best water/earth workers first
- Prioritize byproducts over coins
- Match job → level → personality; catch battle duplicates
- Staff woodworking bench + chimney kiln early; process ahead
- Use all 5 order refreshes daily; chase double rewards & element gems
- Keep Sparkling/Prismana duplicates for habitability, Bud Tickets, trips
- Rush RV6; keep all trip slots running
- Push Home Index to ~16,000 for toolkits
- Reach RV10 for Harvest Moon Festival; spend wheat on furniture; prep Grand Feast ingredients now; attend all 7 gatherings (Oct 21-27)
Homeland is a long-term passive engine for eggs, Anipods, Prismana chances, and coins. Players who set it up properly now will be miles ahead in a month. For a related strategy on daily coin generation, explore the Stress-Free Daily Gold Making Routine in Hartopia: Recipes & Tips.
What RV level are you at? Let me know in the comments, and subscribe for more system breakdowns that nobody else is explaining.
Homeland is the most broken system in Animo, and almost nobody explains it properly. Most players treat it like a
cute little farm on the side. Plant some wheat, pet your Animo, move on. But hidden inside that cozy RV is a free
Annipod factory, a 25,000 exp fruit, a guaranteed Prismana egg, crops that can sell for 450,000 coins each, and a
passive egg machine that can copy Prismana, sparkling, alpha, and even umbil traits from your own. It is also
hiding a cost curve so steep that about 90% of everything you will ever spend [music] on it is crammed into the last
six levels. And right now, there is a limited time Homeland event running, the Harvest Moon Festival, and its biggest
stage just went live. It has a wonder egg, dream sparks, [music] five exclusive furniture sets, and a daily
gift event in the final week. Most players either cannot access it yet or are wasting their event currency in the
worst possible way. So, this is going to be the only Homeland video you need. [music] every number. How the RV levels
scale, how worker efficiency actually works, the bottleneck that stalls almost everyone at RV7. Farming, electricity,
orders, habitability, the home index, crop mutations, the full harvest moon festival, and the trip system that I
genuinely think is the most underrated feature in the entire game. Grab a drink. Let's get into it. First, how you
even get here, because the game does a terrible job of telling you. Homeland opens at character level 20 once you
reach grade 2 student. It starts with the quest prologue the wondrous RV where Fanny hands you your first very broken
down RV. You will need an Ember Pup with you during that tutorial because it is used to restore the RV's power. Here is
the part that trips people up. The Homeland button, the little house icon with a heart sits right next to your
quest tracker. It starts grayed out and there is no on-creen prompt when it unlocks. So, a lot of players hit level
20, never notice it lit up, and lose days of passive production without realizing it. Once you are in, you
register your RV at a park board, step through the portal, plant your first wheat, and sell it to Annie at the home
co-op store for your first home [music] coins. Place four farmland plots, pay 140 home coins and three wood blocks,
and you are RV level two. That first upgrade takes 30 seconds. Remember that number because it does not stay that
way. From here, Homeland has its own story quest line. [music] Two chapters, 42
sections, and every main act pays out 300 safaris, 30 glimmer, 15,000 credits, and 100 BUD tickets. Between the acts
are milestones, and each milestone asks for a specific RV level, starting at RV 2 and going all the way to RV 20. So,
the quest line is basically the game's own road map for Homeland. always keep it moving because the rewards add up and
some of the biggest features like the climate control system, the dreamhouse, and the festival chapter are locked
behind it. Now, the first reason I call Homeland broken, look at how the RV levels scale. There are 20 RV levels.
RV2 costs 140 coins. RV6 costs 32,000. [music] RV10 costs 510,000.
And RV20, the final level, costs 20.8 million home coins on its own. Add it all up, and maxing your RV costs roughly
74 million home coins. [music] Levels 2 through 10 combined cost about 1 million. Levels 15 through 20 cost
around 67 million. That is about 90% of the entire bill sitting in [music] the last six levels. The build timers do the
same thing. 30 seconds at RV2, 1 and a half hours at RV 6, 3 and 1/2 hours at RV 10, 12 hours for RV 20. Stack them
all and you are looking at roughly 90 hours of pure upgrade timers. And it is not just coins. From RV7 onward, every
level also needs processed materials. Rough lumber and coarse sifted ore for 7 through 10, standard planks and centered
ore brick for 11- 14. laminated beams and refined ore for 15 through 18 and densified timber components and micro
crystalline ore plate for the last two. Then there are the soft gates. RV7 needs the student 3 title. RV 11, 15, and 19
need wayfairer 1, 2, and 3. Starting at RV 10, you need a habitability score. 13,000 at RV 10, climbing to 20,000 at
RV 20. And the late levels ask for a minimum amount of land, like 34 farmlands at RV7 and 40 farmlands plus
10 mines at RV20. Your reward for climbing is space. Your worker cap goes from eighto at RV2 to 45 at RV20. There
are 16 extra land plots to buy, unlocking from RV2 to RV8. And clearing the debris on those plots actually pays
you back in wood blocks and mineral sand. The last plot alone gives back over [music] 14,000 wood blocks. So, the
takeaway is simple. Early homeland is not hard. It is a coin and material wall at the end, and everything you do early
should be building toward that wall. So, what actually unlocks along the way? Here is the road map you should have in
your head. [music] RV2 unlocks workers, storage, the kitchen module, and the hatchinator. RV3 unlocks the ecological
module. RV4 unlocks order refreshes. RV5 unlocks the resource detector and the crafting module. RV6 is the first big
[music] one. It unlocks the signal transmitter, which means trips. And we are going to talk a lot about trips. RV7
brings the climate control system, which is heaters and coolers, and that is also where processed materials start. RV8
opens the home building zone. RV9 lets your facilities go to level three and adds the incubation reaction module. RV
10 is the second big one. It gives you a Prismana fenmain egg, unlocks the home season, which is where the harvest moon
festival lives, and starts the habitability requirements. RV11 unlocks adventure trips. RV12 unlocks the power
module and electricity. RV14 raises the facility level cap again and adds new shops and production. and RV 16 unlocks
camping trips and [music] your third trip slot. If you only remember three numbers from this section, make it 6,
10, and 12: trips, the festival, and electricity. Which brings us to workers, the actual
engine of homeland. [music] Every animal has homeland abilities. There are 13 of them. Nine are elemental. Fire cooks,
smelts, and supplies heat. Grass plants, and gathers. Water brews waters and fetches. Earth mines and reclaims land.
Lightning handles electricity. [music] Ice cools. Wind processes. Dark harvests, cuts, pickles, and dries. And
light illuminates. The other four are general jobs. Hauling, artisanship, leisure, and perfumery. Each ability has
a level from 1 to four. And this is where the math gets interesting. A level one worker produces 60 workload per
minute. Level two is 75. Level three is 90. Level four is 105. [music] So a level four worker is already 75% faster
than a level one. But that is only the base. There are two separate 20% bonuses on top. If a worker's ability level is
above what the facility requires, they get 20% more efficiency. And if their personality matches the facility, that
is another 20%. Those two bonuses stack. A green indicator on the management screen tells you a worker is at peak
efficiency. That personality bonus is the one nobody talks about. Every animo has a four-letter personality, and each
letter is a trait, like practical, [music] tenacious, playful, or judicious.
Specific traits boost specific stations, and one animal can match up to four different stations. [music] Practical
boosts the claw game cooker. Tenacious boosts the carousel mill. Energetic boosts the bouncy brew keg. Playful
boosts the mine and the pickling jar. Judicious boosts the crafting table, the tide whisper sand castle, and the nimbus
bed. And nimble boosts the jukebox dryer, the blazing stove, and the floral windmill. Put all of that together, and
a perfectly matched overleveled worker can end up producing well over double what a random level one worker does in
the same slot. Now, the catch. An animal working in your homeland cannot be in your battle team. So, if your best
fighter is also your best worker, catch a second copy. Do not bench your main team for a farm. And one more thing,
[music] your Animos's combat level does not change its homeland ability. Evolution does. Budclaw has Earth 1.
Evolve it into shrubclaw, and that jumps to Earth 3. So, if a worker feels slow, check whether it has an evolution before
you replace it. So, who should you actually put to work? Early on, you can cover almost everything with Animo you
catch in the first couple of hours. [music] Glaci is fantastic with water three, ice
2, and hauling three. Shrubclaw is your miner with earth three, and if you can find one with the playful trait, that is
a perfect mine worker. Drupal covers dark and leisure. Turbo in its rainstorm form brings wind three, leisure 3, and
lightning 2. and nighttime grace covers dark, wind, and leisure in one slot. Here's a tip a lot of guides miss. In
the early game, only two elements really matter for your progression speed. Water because it speeds up your wells and
earth because it speeds up your mines. Your trees and mines produce the byproducts that you need for RV
upgrades. And those byproducts are your real early bottleneck, not coins. So, put your best water and earth workers in
first and spread everything else across multiple low-level workers rather than one fancy one. [music] In the midame,
the important names are Thornblade with grass three and artisansship three, eklue with wind three and artisanship 3,
flamion for fire three, fragranceier which is the only level three perfumery worker found so far, and blazing with
lightning 3 and artisanship 3, which makes it perfect for the antipod maker. At the top end, Somniwing is the
standout with grass 4 and leisure 4 plus [music] wind three, which is the highest wind seen on any so far. Irisalis, the
new legendary, also shows up with level four grass and leisure. And Prismana forms are where level four abilities
really start appearing across the board. [music] Prismana Magmarex is listed with hauling four and fire four. Prismana
Glacy is listed with hauling four and water four. So, your Prismana collection is not just for fighting. It is your
endgame workforce. [music] Here is the bottleneck that stalls almost everyone. From RV7 on, your
upgrades need processed lumber and ore. And those come from two facilities. The woodworking bench, which is an
artisanship job, turns wood blocks into rough lumber, then standard planks, laminated beams, and densified timber.
[music] The chimney kiln, which is a fire job, turns mineral sand into coarse sifted ore, then ore brick, refined ore,
and microchrystalline ore plate. Each step uses eight of the previous tier. [music] Levels 7 through 10 alone need
about 4,900 rough lumber and 4,200 coarse sifted ore. If you only start processing when the upgrade button asks
for it, you will sit there waiting for hours. So, staff your bench and your kiln before you staff your cooking
stations. [music] and process ahead of time, not just in time. Tiers one and two only need artisanship one and fire
one. Tiers three and four need artisanship three and [music] fire three. So, plan your workers for that
jump. The best advice I have seen from experienced players is this. Maximize byproducts first and home coins second.
Your coins will come from orders. Your materials will not come from anywhere except your own production. And a hidden
trick for later, keep just one chimney kil and one woodworking bench at each level instead of upgrading a bunch of
duplicates to max. Higher level buildings eat more electricity and once you are on the power grid, overloading
it slows down your whole base. We will get to electricity in a second. Now, farming [music] because this is where
your coins actually come from. There are 20 field crops and 13 trees. Crops keep growing while you are offline, so you
can always come back to a harvest. Processing stations and cooking run on their own timers, so cue jobs that
roughly match how long you will be away. Here is a wheat trick. A basic wheat seed gives five wheat on a 4-minute
timer. With the ecological module at level one, the quick formula gives 42 wheat from one seed on a 20inut timer.
That is a massive jump for your cheapest crop. and Shoproot beanie 2333 gives you a free wheat seed every day. If you want
pure money, the top earners per hour are cocoa at around 2790 home coins an hour, orange flour at around 2760,
coconut at around 2,640, and strawberry at around 2380 with its module recipe. And cocoa and orange
flour also give you wood blocks as a byproduct, which we just said is the real bottleneck. But many of the best
crops need special conditions. 21 formulas need temperature or light. Sugar cane, cocoa, coconut, agave, and
natural rubber need heat. Strawberry, rose, ginsing, and apple need a cooling unit. Cranberry and maple syrup need it
even colder. And lavender, grapes, orange flour, and walnut need a sunlamp. Lavender will not grow without the
sunlamp at all. And growth tonics will not get around that. [music] Here is a layout trick that almost nobody
explains. You can get three temperatures from just two buildings. Where a scorching heater's range overlaps a cool
zone, you get a warm zone. Where a freezing zone overlaps a warm zone, you get a cool zone. So, place your heater
and cooler first. Plant the crop that needs each band in the right spot and use the overlap in the middle for crops
like chestnuts that want warm. General layout rules. Keep each temperature zone separate. Put the unit right next to the
plots it serves. Leave a clear hauling path to storage. Check the range overlay before you plant. [music] And test the
edge plots for one full cycle before you fill the whole area. One more small one. Your animo will sometimes water your
crops, which takes 5 minutes off the timer, but players report this only happens while you are actually in your
base. Now, food because hungry workers are one of the biggest silent killers in homeland. [music] Food in animal does
not heal your party, does not boost catch rates, and does not speed up eggs. Its only job is feeding your homeland
workers. Unfed workers slow down, get unhappy, and can even get sick if you neglect them long enough. And check the
numbers before you cook because raw crops often beat processed food. Soybeans give 12,500 energy each.
Strawberries give almost 12,000. Chestnuts give over 10,500. Wheat meal gives 8,360.
Sugarcane gives 6,800. Potatoes give only 5,390. Energy bites cost 30 home coins each if
you are in a pinch. So, keep a stockpile of high energy food. Keep your seeds in the warehouse instead of selling
everything, and you will never have your whole base slow down overnight. Next, electricity. This unlocks with the power
module at RV12, and it changes how your base works. From RV12 on, a lot of facilities can run in electric mode,
which uses power. Most buildings cost 15 power per level, but mines, wells, the antipod maker, and the dance pad
polisher cost 30 power per level. So, a level six mine can need 180. [music] Here's the part that matters. Unused
power on your grid gives your base a production speed bonus up to 120%. But if you go over your power limit, your
speed drops below 100% across the board. So the experienced player advice is to leave mines and wells on normal mode
because they are so power hungry and save your power for the buildings that benefit most. Avoid upgrading duplicate
processing buildings to high levels just to have them sit there eating power. Run a lean grid and let that spare power
turn into speed. Now, let's talk money. Because home coins are what actually gate [music]
you. Your main income is the order board. You can hold up to nine orders at once, and new orders arrive twice a day
at 4:00 a.m. and 400 p.m. server time. [music] From RV4, you get five free refreshes every day, and extra refreshes
cost home coins, and that [music] cost does not go up with your RV level. There are eight clients with order tiers from
1 to six and there is a hidden multiplier. About 95% of orders pay normal rewards. Around 4% pay double and
roughly 1% pay five times the reward. So here is how to roll. Do not just take whatever shows up. Prioritize orders
that give byproducts, orders that pay double or more, and orders that give element gems. Element gems only come
from highquality home orders, and you trade them for furniture infused with elemental essence, which is what powers
your elemental decorations and buffs. A lot of top players treat element gems as their number one homeland priority.
Selling to the co-op store works for unlimited quantities, but it pays less than orders, so treat it as overflow.
Things like spare aromatists, pearls, nuts, and maple sugar are great to dump there. Next is habitability. The gate
that sneaks up on people at RV10. You need 13,000 habitability for RV10 and it rises to 20,000 at RV 20. Habitability
comes from your furniture and from the animal living in your homeland. Some single pieces are huge. Sunlit Grove
gives over 2,000 habitability on its own. The Migay pool bathtub and the Forest Whispers wooden bath both give
around 1,200. And this is where it gets kind of broken again. >> [music]
>> rarer add more. A normal is worth 100 points. One with either a sparkling or a prismana tag is worth 150. One with both
is worth 200. That is double a normal. So every sparkling or prismana duplicate you were about to release is actually
worth something here. Do not throw them away. That brings us to the homebuilding zone and bud tickets. The homebuilding
zone opens around RV8 through the Dreamhouse quest line. It is a separate open plot just for building and
decorating with its own economy. Your decorations are bought with bud [music] tickets, not home coins. And the best
bud ticket source is the animal you place in that zone. A regular produces 120 bud tickets a day. A sparkling or a
prismana produces 180. And one that is both produces 270 a day. Notice the pattern again. Your rare duplicates are
worth more here, too. The tickets collect in a bud ticket jar, and once the jar is full, it stops collecting, so
empty it regularly. [music] Beanie number nine will tell you when it is full. Other sources: Your daily home
chest gives 100 bud tickets. Some orders pay bud tickets. Every main home quest act gives 100. Petting wandering can
drop them. And selling unused furniture back to the co-op store returns part of the cost. For building, use build mode.
Drag furniture straight from the list and turn on continuous placement for things like floors and [music] fences.
You can also save furniture setups as combos and share them with an 8 character code up to 15 of your own and
15 imported. So if you see a layout you love, you can literally import it. Now the home index. This is a collection log
and it is way more important than it looks. There are five categories. resource products, building materials,
season index, mutant plants, and furniture, over,00 furniture pieces, and a maximum score of around 25,300 points.
Why does it matter? Modification toolkits. You need these legendary tool kits to upgrade your RV modules, like
the kitchen, ecological, crafting, and signal transmitter modules. According to player tracking, you need around 46 of
them total. About 24 come from RV levelups and the other 22 come from home index milestones. [music] To get all of
those, you need an index score of around 16,000. The cheapest way to push your score is blocks. Block furniture costs
two bud tickets and gives six index points. Collecting one of every item you can craft also adds up quickly, and so
do cheap gray and green decorations. And the category most players ignore is mutant plants. It has 120 entries worth
over 7,000 points, which brings us to mutations. Every crop you grow has a tiny chance to
mutate, and mutated crops are worth a lot. With no upgrades, crops have a 0.05%
chance to come out as a huge variant. Upgrading the plant research module unlocks more types. Level one unlocks
colorful variants. Level two unlocks shining variants. Level three raises the odds to 0.075%.
And level four raises them to 0.1%. Those variants stack. The rarest version, a huge, colorful, shining
crystalline crop, can [music] sell for 450,000 home coins. Mutated plants also count
for your home index when you collect them. So, the best move is to stockpile mutations instead of instantly selling
them, at least until each one is logged. Now, the event that is live right now, the Harvest Moon Festival. [music] This
is Homeland's first home season. It runs from September 16th to October 27th, and you need RV10 to join. You start it from
the Harvest Moon icon at the top right of your screen, and you talk to Jojo in the limited time event zone. It has
three stages. [music] Harvest ran until October 6th. Preparation runs from October 7th to the 20th [music] and the
gathering runs from October 21st to the 27th. So, the most important part of the event is starting right now. [music] The
event currency is Moonray wheat. You earn 600 a day from four dailies, 150 each. Complete three home orders, sell
home produce once at the co-op store, complete one animal outing, and loosen soil at a friend's home once. On top of
that, there are two season orders per day, which can bring your daily total up to around,50.
Then there are two event crops, moonwe radish and waxing moon pepper. [music] Each seed costs four moonray wheat,
gives eight crops, and grows in 40 minutes. Each crop has eight possible mutations, so there are 16 mutated
variants in total. [music] These mutations are worth harvest moon points from 100 points for a one-star up to 800
points for a four-star. Duplicates can be broken down into a special currency called waxing mundo. Harvest Moon points
fill a 10 tier reward track from 1,000 points up to 120,000. Along the way, you get five furniture blueprints: laurel,
starfall, fireworks, osmanthis rain, and radiant moon, plus an avatar, a frame, a card, and a title. And the final tier at
120,000 points is a dream spark. Now, here is the mistake most players are making. You can earn points by planting
event crops or by buying and placing event furniture. [music] And furniture is roughly five times more efficient.
1,000 moonray wheat spent on furniture gives you about 11,600 points. The same wheat spent on seeds gives about 2,200.
So, buy the furniture, place it, and only buy the seeds you actually need for the quest and for mutation hunting. Some
furniture has a placement limit, like five copies of a tree, but you can recycle and reby it. Players are also
reselling extra seasonal furniture at the co-op store for big bud ticket returns.
Then there is the festival quest line, Moonlight Harvest and Gathering. This is where the best rewards are, and it
unlocks in steps over the next 2 weeks. Clear the plot opens October 7th. You clear 36 pieces of debris and get 100
moonray wheat, 50,000 credits, 1,000 wood blocks, and 500 mineral sand. Get Together opens October 8th. You consult
an ember pup and place the get together structure for 200 wheat, 100,000 credits, and 1,000 bud tickets. Harvest
in progress opens October 11th. Consult a Celestice and place the Bright Bloom structure for 300 wheat, 150,000
credits, 30 plant growth tonics, and 15 energizing workmeals. Festival Lights opens October 14th. Consult a Sparky and
place the festive light structure for 400 wheat, 200,000 credits, and 200 Voxil coins. And a grand feast opens
October 17th. This is the big one. [music] You need five each of six dishes, 30 dishes total. Three are
season dishes: Umbreal pickle, umbrell hot pot, and harvest [music] platter. Three are home dishes, tonghulu, maple
candy apple jam, and lavender cookies. That takes about 120 mundu radish and 120 waxing moon pepper. So roughly 15
seeds of each. And you will need lavender, which means a sunlamp, and maple, [music] which needs the cold
zone. So set those up now. The reward is 600 moonray wheat, 300,000 credits, and a wonder egg. Make sure you have the
animo the quest asks you to consult, an ember pup, a celestus, and a sparky so you are not stuck hunting them on the
day. And then the finale, the harvest gathering from October 21st to the 27th. You need a habitability of 1,200 in your
limited time event zone to host it. It runs once per day, lasts about 5 minutes and 40 seconds, and drops gifts in three
waves. At the start, at about the 1 minute 50 mark, and at about the 4 minute 10 mark. [music] Each wave puts
five gifts across 16 spots, and each gift sticks around for about 30 seconds. [music] Possible rewards include dream
sparks, wonder eggs, moonray wheat, and gift boxes. There is also a gathering daily worth 300 extra wheat. That is 7
days of gatherings. So, do not miss a single one. And leftover moonray wheat goes into the harvest moon shop, which
has 25 items, including furniture blueprints and recipe notes for a little under 3,000 wheat total. If you are
under RV 10 right now, this is your reason to push. You still have time to reach it before the grand feast and the
gathering. Now, the part I think is the most broken thing in Homeland, RV trips. At RV 6, you unlock the signal
transmitter. Talk to a park manager to activate a park. Open the trip menu from the parkboard. Press the plus sign. Pick
an [music] animal and send it off. There are three trip types. On foot takes 6 hours. Adventure takes 12 and unlocks at
RV 111. Camping takes 20 and unlocks at RV16. Each signal transmitter level lets one more go, so you max out at three
trips at once. Nothing shortens a trip. And if you recall early, you lose every reward. Trips bring back regional
specialties from the park you are at, so different parks give different materials, plus held items from rare
quality on short trips to epic up to legendary quality on the long ones. That alone is worth doing everyday. But here
is the real secret. Your animal can bring back a mysterious animalo egg. At most one egg per trip, and the longer
the trip, the higher the chance. And that egg has a chance to inherit the traveling animals form and mutation.
That includes prismana form, weather, and region forms, and sparkling, alpha, and umbrell mutations. [music] Think
about what that means. Send a prismana on a trip, and you have a chance to get another prism back. Send an umbrello and
players are reporting the offspring comes out with perfect potential with the dark look disappearing after it
evolves. For a free-to-play player, that [music] is a passive way to farm extra copies of hard to find like Fmentis or
Dasmand without hunting them down from scratch. [music] It is not guaranteed. Players have hatched eggs from sparkling
parents that came out plain, and potential seems to roll on its own rather than copying the parent. Some
animal never bring back eggs at all, including the starters, Irisalis, Somniwing, and Bauce. But three trips
running all day, every day adds up fast. And remember, the animal on a trip cannot fight. So send duplicates, not
your main team. The parks themselves are also doing more than you think. There are four RV parks. Sea of Flowers with
Ben, Nimbus Fields with Umei, Echoback Landing with Cessa, and Driftwise Meadow with you. Each one heals you
continuously, so it doubles as a free healing spot. They also give park buffs. Element essences placed on platforms
give plus 2% attack and resistance for that element, and pure essences give plus 5%. [music] You get the buff by
resting on a ride or a terrace seat, and your neighbors essences count, too. [music] You can decorate your platform
from the park board. And if you want to play with friends, you can create a private park, invite them, and control
who else gets in. [music] disbanding refunds 60% of the fee. Speaking of friends, they can loosen your soil five
times a day each, up to 30 helps total, and every 15 helps gives you a home tilling chest. And loosening a friend's
soil is one of the festival dailies right now, so add some friends. You can also pet your Animo for up to five
rewards a day. Eggs go in the hatchinator, and petting or caressing speeds them up. Friends can help with
that, too. [music] And on hatch haste weekends, hatch time is cut in half. So save your eggs for Friday. So what does
all of this actually give back to your combat account? The Annipod maker, a lightning job, turns mine materials into
anods. 12 rock makes a regular Annipod. 10 clay makes an anipod pro. And six shell makes an Anipod mega once your
maker is level three and your worker has lightning three. That is a free Annipod factory. The dance pad polisher turns
crops into growth items. And a single growth fruit is worth 25,000 animo exp. RV10 hands you a prismana fenmain egg.
The festival gives a wonder egg and dream sparks. Trips give held items up to legendary quality plus eggs. And then
there is the bubble gacha pon. It costs home coins starting around 10,000 per draw and going well past 300,000.
Players report about five draws a week for around 560,000 coins total. The grand prize has a 2% chance. [music] It
is guaranteed within 100 draws. And the pool includes prisana eggs, dream sparks, and elemental crystals. So once
your coin income is stable, those weekly draws are worth doing. Let's recap the mistakes that quietly kill your
progress. One, no hauler. Facilities have small storage. Farmland only holds 5 to 35 items. If nobody carries the
output away, production stops. Always keep at least one hauling worker active. [music]
Two, the wrong job. A worker without the facility's required ability produces nothing. Match the job first, then the
level, then the personality. Three, underleveled crews. No recipe needs a job level above three, but a level two
worker cannot run a level three recipe. Four, hungry workers. Keep high energy food stocked. Five, [music] processing
just in time. Build your lumber and ore stockpile before the upgrade asks for it. Six, releasing sparkling and
prismana duplicates. They are worth more habitability, more bud [music] tickets, and they are your best trip parents.
Seven, wasting moonray wheat on seeds instead of furniture during the festival. And eight, a mistake many
experienced players point [music] out, buying the incubation reaction module early. It costs two modification
toolkits and you already have egg hatchers, so spend those tool kits on modules that boost production first. So,
here is the full priority [music] list. One, unlock homeland the second you hit level 20. Watch for the grade out house
icon and keep the home quest line moving. Two, fill every worker slot. Always run a hauler and keep your
workers fed. Three, put your best water and earth workers in first and prioritize byproducts over coins. Four,
match job, then level, then personality, and catch duplicates of anything you also use in battle. Five, staff the
woodworking bench and the chimney kiln early and process ahead of time. Six, use all five free order refreshes every
day and chase double rewards, byproducts, and element gems. Seven, keep sparkling and prismana duplicates
for habitability, bud tickets, and trips. Eight, rush RV 6 and keep every trip slot running. Nine, push your home
index to around 16,000 for all your toolkits and stockpile mutations. And 10, if you can reach RV10, jump into the
Harvest Moon Festival. Spend wheat on furniture. [music] Do every festival quest as it unlocks. Prep the grand
feast ingredients now and show up for all seven gatherings. Homeland looks like a side activity, but it is a
long-term passive engine for eggs, expods, [music] prismana chances, and coins. The players
who set it up properly now are going to be miles ahead in a month. If this helped, tell me in the comments what RV
level you are at right now, and subscribe because I am going to keep breaking down the systems in this game
that nobody else is explaining. I will see you in the next
The fastest coin earners per hour are Cocoa (~2,790 coins), Orange Flour (~2,760), and Coconut (~2,640). However, the highest single-payout comes from mutated crops: a Huge+Colorful+Shining+Crystalline crop sells for 450,000 Home Coins. For consistent income, prioritize Order Board rewards with byproducts and double/five-time bonuses.
The most critical mistake is wasting event currency (Moonray Wheat) on seeds instead of furniture. Purchasing furniture is approximately 5x more efficient, yielding about 11,600 Harvest Moon points per 1,000 wheat versus only 2,200 points from seeds. Prioritize buying and placing furniture, and only buy seeds if required for quests or mutation hunting.
Starting at RV Level 6, you can send animals on
The broken part is that eggs brought back from RV trips can inherit the traveling animal's form and mutation, including rare traits like Prismana, Sparkling, Alpha, and Umbral. This creates a passive way to farm copies of rare Animo without active hunting. However, starters, Irisalis, Somniwing, and Baucis never bring back eggs, so send duplicates instead of your main battle team.
Key milestones are: RV6 unlocks Trips (the passive egg duplication system), RV10 unlocks the Prismana Fenmain egg and the Harvest Moon Festival, and RV12 unlocks Electricity. Rush to RV6 as soon as possible because Trips is the most broken passive system, allowing you to start farming rare Animo copies immediately.
From RV7 onward, upgrades require processed lumber and ore. The key is to staff your Woodworking Bench and Chimney Kiln before any cooking stations, and always process materials ahead of time rather than just-in-time. Keep one of each building at each level instead of upgrading duplicates, as higher-level buildings consume more electricity.
You need approximately 46 total Toolkits, with about 24 from RV level-ups and 22 from Home Index milestones. To reach the required index score (~16,000), the cheapest method is to buy Block furniture (2 Bud Tickets = 6 index points). Don't ignore the Mutant plants category, which has 120 entries worth over 7,000 points.
