Prayer of Faith Heals the Sick: Stop Religious Performance

Now listen carefully. Listen carefully. The Lord told me to do this every time

we do this activation. It's not your This is such good news. Like this is >> [sighs]

>> It's not your prayer that heals the sick. So don't get self-conscious and try to

pray right, powerful, and anointed. There's no such thing. That's all religious language.

You're just praying a prayer of faith. You're just praying a believing prayer. And when you say and believe and you say

be whole in Jesus' name, who knows that's plenty when it's backed by a revelation?

What did Jesus say? Stretch forth your hand. Well, get up and walk. So see. He didn't say, "Now Father, I come

before you and before your majestic throne and the majesty of your holy name, God."

And I'm not making fun of worshiping God. What I'm saying is he wasn't trying to stir nothing up, especially himself.

So we're quoting scripture and doing all this stuff and we're amplifying our English and we're saying in the name of

Jesus. Well, how about just in the name of Jesus?

Why do we talk when we pray like we never talk when we talk? Why do we get whispery and get real

"Father, I just come to you right now in the matchless and holy name"? You don't even act like that all day.

And now you go to pray and you put on this thing. We are just funny.

We got to stop being funny. Your prayer never heals the sick.

It's your faith in God. It's believing him and his finished work.

We say, "Well, we just need to get them to pray." No, no. We need to get them to believe.

We need to believe. Watch. Be whole in Jesus' name. Pain, you go. Knees, be restored.

Back, no more pain. Shoulder, you work, you rotate without limit in the name [clears throat] of Jesus. That's all

faith. Say it into the mountain, move and it'll what? And nothing will be impossible for

Now watch, we have to put ourselves in that position and sow tons of seeds into our community so that a lot of water can

flow and God can bring a lot of increase. Now I've seen three things when I pray

for the sick. I've seen people instantly healed. That's a no-brainer. Thank you, Jesus. Woohoo, right?

>> [snorts] >> I've seen people get somewhat healed to where they know they're better. That's

always exciting cuz we recognize movement. And they always let you pray again.

Did you ever have anybody in the street, Todd, that you prayed for that was somewhat healed not let you pray again?

When they're somewhat healed, they want you to pray again. They're trying to convince you they're

somewhat healed. Like, "No, I'm not kidding. Like, it's like 70%. No, I'm like, I know I believe you. Our goal is

100. Let's just pray. Go ahead, man. PRAY. THIS IS CRAZY." The one we fear is nothing changing.

And that's the one that gets us to want to jump ship and be afraid to even step out. Don't make this about you. Make

this about his kingdom. I should be more concerned about not believing than getting myself in a

pickle. I'm not going to be in a pickle anymore cuz I'm a believer.

So even if their body doesn't change, it doesn't end with that. Faith stays alive. I I I say this years

for years. I I taught a lot of things at home. I did a lot of regular meetings. I did a kingdom school. We always taught

our people to never let go. To never let go. To believe what you

believe and never let go. So when someone walks away and they're still going like this to

their car and you even help them in their car, and you would cheer them on. You don't turn and go, "Man, what am I

missing?" You turn and go, "Wow, Father, thank you for the honor of laying hands on them in

your name, Jesus. And thank you for what you're doing in their life and in their body. God, what an honor to participate

with you and live by faith." It's not a "Well, that sure didn't go well."

That's what we do. We get analytical and rational. And we talk ourself out of ever stepping

out again. Ain't that something? Especially if you have like a strike two, strike three in

your mind. Now you justified, "I'm out, struck out."

No, I prayed for the sick, never seen nothing happen. I don't bother anymore. No, no, stop. Why do you let what you

see or don't see determine what you believe instead of his life, his word, and his promise?

So that we have to stay strong in.
