Lord, Teach Us to Pray: The Cornerstone of Power for the Remnant Church

I'm going to try this. Safe to serve Jamaica. Happy Sabbath. >> [sighs]

>> That sounds good. Praise the Lord. A few quick announcements here. You have been watching us

doing aggressive, effective evangelism on the island. I want to let you know

that there is another distribution that would take place shortly.

So, we have another food distribution that also includes groceries, of course, water,

and we also have clothes, and uh survival equipment.

And those items will be distributed on tomorrow, that's Sunday, June 7th. If you

would like some of these items, I'm going to encourage you all to write down this address.

The address is 71 Manchester Road. 71 71 Manchester Road, and of course, that's in Mandeville.

Please make note of the time. You saw us further west a few days ago uh distributing items. This distribution

will be in Mandeville. The time tomorrow is going to be at 11:00 a.m. What time did I say?

11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on tomorrow. Okay? All right.

On this Sabbath here, it's impossible for me to share everything I have to share with you.

So, that means today is just the beginning of a great movement for the Lord here in

Jamaica. They are They are Amen. There going to be several other meetings. We're already

putting in place plans for a few more days. So, stay tuned for that announcement.

Uh this this this year is somewhat special to me, my wife, and the minister team.

As you know that the actual church Save the World began in 2006.

So, this year is actually our 20th anniversary. And how fitting to come here in Jamaica

for this special meeting. I strongly believe that if the Lord should tarry a few more months longer

than today, then more meetings like these must be held. You see, friends,

there are many ministries around town, and there are many literature

that have been distributed on this island of Jamaica. And yet, we don't see a greater work.

On one hand, we know it's God's timing. On the other hand, it's something else. I believe the people on this island

of my birth, this island Jamaica here, I believe that it's not more truth they need per

se. Of course, truth is progressive, and people need more principles, reforms,

and standards. But what the people need to see on this island are people living the truth.

That's the problem. It's people living the truth. And God is waiting and anticipating a

group of faithful believers that would not only speak about the truth, not only preach about the truth, but live the

truth. And if you have been following us for quite some time, you know I don't spend

much time talking about theory because theory is good, but theory without practical godliness is

worthless. As the Bible says about Jesus, he was the word. John 1:1. But verse 14 says

that the word became flesh. The word became what? Became flesh. So, while we have the word

of theory in that context, we need practical godliness. I know some of you can travel.

So, I hope to see some of you in Georgia. All right.

For our upcoming summer convocation, that is July 30 through August 2nd. And I don't want to

be negligent without thanking you for making the sacrifice to come out today.

I know the whisperings and the announcements were made, "Don't go to that meeting."

I I I heard and I saw the bulletin. I saw the

announcements. I the text messages. People showed them to me.

Family members saying, "Don't come to this meeting. He's a cult leader. Don't come to this meeting. A fanatic, an

offshoot." I've heard. Am I lying? All right.

Even elders and pastors have told you not to attend. But praise the Lord, you listened to

God's voice. And today we're going to see, we're going to see by God's grace

who allowed you to come. If it was the devil or if it was the Lord.

And I believe that you're being led by the Lord. So, here's what I want you all to do.

Pay attention today as we go through God's word. Because what I'm going to share with you, I need it.

What I'm going to share with you is a personal experience. And today we want to go higher

in the Lord and go deeper in the word of truth. So again, again I must say I thank you for making the sacrifice to

come out to this present truth Sabbath convocation. After this service, please don't go home. Amen.

Stay right here because we have a whole day plan for you all by God's grace. After this, we have our fellowship

lunch. After word, we have also our round table panel discussion. We'll be addressing some vital issues going on

here in Jamaica and the worldwide field. Then afterwards, we have a my own say it to serve.

Melodies of heaven will be live in concert. And you don't want to miss that.

I talk too much. Without further ado, let's all kneel at this time and let us seek the Lord in prayer at this time.

Amen. Amen. Let's pray. Father in heaven,

we gather in your presence not on Sunday. It's on the first day of the week.

That's not the biblical day of worship. We gather on the seventh day of the week,

commonly called Saturday, the biblical Sabbath. I pray now you'll grant us the

refreshing. Grant us the revival and the reformation you have promised.

May we all see duty. May we all see Jesus. May we all surrender everything to our

great high priest, Jesus Christ. Feed us today with hot, fresh bread from heaven's bakery. And when this service

is over, may your name be exalted. May your name be glorified here in Jamaica. Be with those who are joining us online

even now. Safe to serve international live online right now. Bless us now we pray. May the holy angels surround this

place. Sanctify one more time this conference hall at the AC Marriott Hotel.

May your holy spirit pay us a visit in a greater measure even right now. Let there be no interruption, no

distractions. May we treat this message as if it were the last, as a life and death message is our prayer to you in

the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Amen. Present truth Sabbath convocation. I want you all to turn your Bibles to 2 Peter chapter 1. Where are we going to,

my friends? 2 Peter chapter 1. And I want to point you to that scripture that mentioned present truth. And the Bible

says in verse 12 of 2 Peter chapter 1, "I would not be negligent to keep you in remembrance of these things, though you

know them, that you might be established in the present truth." And based on inspiration, we know what comprises

present truth. Inspiration says, "But such subjects as the sanctuary, the what my friends? The sanctuary, the 2300

days, the commandments of God, amen, and the faith of Jesus, that these principles comprise present truth. And

this is what the flock needs right now." If that's clear my friends, say amen. And I want you all to note that present

truth it also comprises the message about the close of human probation, the close of salvation for men, for women,

for boys, for girls, for those professed Christians and non-Christians, for those professed SDAs and non-SDA. Present

truth comprises the close of salvation for this whole world. And I want to bring your attention to this wonderful

potent prophecy of Daniel chapter 8 and Daniel chapter 9. We see two principal prophecies and these two prophecies they

point to the close of human probation. Notice carefully at the second line, Daniel chapter 9 verse 24 through verse

27, the 70 prophetic weeks that began 457 BC to 34 AD. That brings to view the close of probation for the Jewish

people. If that's clear, say amen. And notice now on the top you have Daniel chapter 8 and verse 14, "Unto

2,300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." And the cleansing of the

sanctuary is connected to the close of human probation. So these are two prophecies that are connected to the

close of human probation. Now, notice carefully at these three events with three dates, which are connected to the

end. You have AD 27, the baptism of Jesus, AD 31, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, AD 34, you have the stoning of

Stephen, which points to the close of probation for the Jewish people. You have three dates,

three events with a close of probation. So, why am I talking about this? Because today there are not only SDAs in our

midst right now. You invited family members who are not SDA. If I'm right, say amen.

All right. There are non-SDA here. So, what do all these things mean? It is simply the events that led to the close

of probation for the Jewish people. God's word says those events are going to be repeated just before the close of

probation for the world and the second coming of Jesus. If that's clear, my friend, say amen.

The events that led to the destruction of literal Jerusalem typifies the destruction of the world in the time of

the mark of the beast crisis. If that's clear, my friend, say amen. Go to Matthew 23 with me. It is confirmed.

Matthew chapter 23, look carefully at verse 37 of Matthew 23 through verse 39. And also note Matthew 24, verse 1

through verse 3. And I want you all to notice carefully that Christ began his public ministry in the year 27. It's

right there. In the year 27, he began his public ministry. And the close of probation for the Jewish people took

place in the year 34. So, how many years elapsed between 27 and 34? It is what, my friends? Seven years. So, Christ

began his public ministry in the final seven years before the close of probation for the

Jewish people. So, what is God saying to us? There's going to be a raising up of men and ministries that will pattern the

ministry of Jesus just before the close of probation, even the final years of this earth's history. Is that point

clear? Not only Jesus, John the Baptist began his public ministry in the year 27 AD,

spring 27 AD. Again, the probation closed on the Jewish people in the year 34 AD. The final seven years. And what

does seven represent in the Bible, my friends? Come on, talk to me. Completion. Completion. And inspiration

says, "Just as God raised up John the Baptist as the forerunner of Christ's first advent, God raised up John the

Baptist, he's going to raise up men and ministries just before the close of probation, just before the mark of the

beast crisis, just before the second coming of Christ." And I want to be in that group, do you?

Do you? Again, do you? And notice carefully, as God raised up John the Baptist in the year spring 27, what year

are we living in right now? Is it not 2026? So, my friends, we must live today as if

we were living in the year 26. If God had allowed us to live in the year 26, would we have been a part of

John the Baptist ministry? Question. Would we have been a part of Christ's

ministry, or would we be a part of the synagogues, of the Sanhedrin, the conference churches in darkness?

I just stepped on some toes. Let me be clear right here. I am not against conference

and conference pastors, administrators, elders, and professors. What I'm against is apostates.

Those who are living a lie and teaching heresy and leading people to damnation. That is what Christ is against, and

since Jesus is against such, by God's grace, I am against that as well. The last seven years, said God is

raising up individuals, and that's why we're told Watch this. In the book The Desire of Ages, you see you all who have

a front row seat, you all here with a front row seat, you watch this. All right, friends, watch

carefully here. In The Desire of Cut that. In The Desire of Ages, on page 823, we're told that we must spend a

thoughtful hour each day in contemplation upon the life of Christ, that we must take it point by

point and let the imagination let the what? The imagination grasp each scene, especially the closing ones. That means

we must visualize ourselves living in the time of the final scenes, the final years of Christ's earthly ministry, and

it began what year? The year 27, and what year comes shortly? 2027. And that's why as a ministry I began a

9-month journey from now until spring 2027. So, God can use us as he used John the

Baptist to prepare people for the first advent of Christ, and we can prepare people for the second coming of Christ.

I'm simply laying the foundation. I'm not ready to accelerate. Go to Malachi chapter 4 with

me. Malachi, what chapter are we going to, my friends? And I hope you brought a writing instrument. In Malachi chapter

4, verse 5, verse 6, put it down, and Luke chapter 1, verse 13 and verse 17. I want all to note that as God raised up

John the Baptist, who came in the spirit and power of Elijah, God has now raised up ministries to do a similar work. And

the question is, can you discern them? There are folks here who are not SDA, and they're wondering, "Why did my

family member invite me here? Why did my family member, my neighbor invite me to this meeting?" My friends,

because God is raising up ministers, ministries, churches as he raised up John the Baptist to prepare people for

the first advent of Christ. So, non-SDAs, do you understand why you're here now?

Do you understand why you're here now? So, hold your place in Malachi and go to Luke chapter 11.

And today I want to focus on the great question that the disciples asked Jesus. I see you all all the way in the back

row there. I want to talk to you right now. Oh, everybody, listen carefully. What

was the question that the disciples asked Jesus in Luke chapter 11 and verse 1?

We must contemplate on that great question and ask Jesus the very same question.

We must analyze that question so we can understand which modern-day minister, which modern-day ministry, which

modern-day church is God's modern-day John the Baptist, God's modern-day Elijah's. And what was that question? In

Luke chapter 11 and verse 1, and the question was, "Lord, teach us to pray as whom?" Come on, talk to me, my friends.

You watch this. You watch. "Lord, teach us to pray as John the Baptist taught his disciples TO

PRAY." QUESTION, DID they ask the Lord? Did they say this to Lord, "Teach me to do literature evangelism like John?"

Is that what they said? Did they say, "Lord, teach me to be a medical missionary and I can get some

herbs to help those who are sick?" Is that what they said? Is there anything wrong with being a

canvasser? Is anything wrong with being a literature evangelist distributing, even

selling truth-filled literature? Is there anything wrong with that? But that's not what the conversation was

about. Did they say, "Lord, teach me how to preach like John the Baptist?" Is that what they said?

No, my friends. Is anything wrong with preaching and teaching? But notice they said, "Lord, teach us to

what? To pray like John the Baptist." You see, my friends, we're told in Gospel Workers,

page 244, "Never a man speak like this man because never a man lived like this man. He could not have spoken if he had

not so lived." Many young people and adults, young men and older men, they want to preach like John the Baptist,

but the question is, do you have the experience of John the Baptist? Mercy.

And there's quietness in the hall right now. That's the question. Because friends,

before you can be the forerunner of Christ's second advent, prayer must be your cornerstone.

Before you yourself can be prepared for the second coming of Jesus, prayer must be your cornerstone. Lord, teach me to

pray. Before you can get others ready, your wife, your children, yes, your neighbor,

your family member ready for the second coming of Jesus, teach them to make sure prayer is their cornerstone. Lord, teach

me not to preach like John, but Lord, teach me to pray as John taught his disciples to pray. That means modern-day

John the Baptist would teach their members how to do what? Finish it. And do you realize nowadays that prayer

is not being emphasized as it should in our churches? Lord, have mercy.

I told you you watch this. Do you realize you can receive a Bible study series of lessons and tell me from

lesson one to lesson 24, which one deals with prayer specifically? If you show me one, I'll stop preaching.

You see one about second coming, state of the dead, the millennium, the mark of THE BEAST, THIS ALL THOSE ARE WONDERFUL,

IMPORTANT, but which one addresses prayer? You watch this.

Are you ready? Go to Luke chapter 11 with me, my friends. Prayer must be the cornerstone. Look what this statement

says as I'm emphasizing cornerstone. And listen to me, the cornerstone was the first, most crucial stone laid in the

foundation. Do you have a cornerstone? Prayer must be your cornerstone. Every subsequent brick, you know, friends, as

I was here and I came downstairs, do you realize that they're working on the driveway at the AC Hotel right here? Do

you know what they're laying outside there? Brick.

And every building must have a what? A cornerstone. And prayer must be your cornerstone. It says every subsequent

brick, measurement, structural wall was aligned and balanced in reference to the cornerstone. Skip on down.

It says the foundation, the cornerstone, it bears the weight of the structure ensuring it does not collapse. Beloved,

you can be a Sabbath keeper, but if you don't have a cornerstone, you will collapse,

fall, AND BE LOST. YOU CAN BE A plant-based eater. You can eat wheatgrass every day and drink

water. But if you lack the cornerstone, you will collapse and fall and be lost.

You can be a medical missionary, a canvasser, and literature evangelism, but without this cornerstone, you will

collapse, fall, and be lost. And the last time I read, the only thing that should fall is Babylon

is fallen, is fallen. Come out of her, my people. Come out of a form of godliness, but you have no

power. Second Timothy chapter 3 and verse 5. And what does the Bible say brings power? More prayer, more what?

Finish it, brothers and sisters. More power. Luke chapter 11. Didn't I say watch this?

>> [laughter] >> You think we left from Georgia to come and tickle you?

Luke chapter 11. Look carefully at verse one. And it came to pass as he was praying in a certain place, when he

ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, "Lord, everybody read with me. Lord what? Teach us to pray as John also

taught his disciples." Modern-day John the Baptist preparing the people for the second coming of Jesus Christ, for the

mark of the beast crisis. Beloved, as a people, everybody listen attentively. As a people, do you know we will spend more

time even doing Bible study and not that much time in prayer. Beloved, I have a lot to share with you.

But one sermon can't do it. One Sabbath sermon can't do it. But if I had one message to preach, it's this

one, the cornerstone. It's this one, your foundation. Do you realize many of us we treat earnest, personal, diligent

prayer as gravy in the meal. When prayer should be the main course of the meal.

What if I all What if I invited you all to my home for dinner? Hillary, can we serve this many people,

Hillary? Lot of people. And what if you saw the food come out and all you saw was gravy?

What would you think of us? Oh, you okay. Watch this now. What if after this sermon, it's time for

our fellowship lunch and the hosts bring the food out, but all YOU SAW WAS GRAVY. And that's how many of us treat our

Christian experience. Prayer is not the main course, my friends. We treat prayer as gravy.

As a matter of fact, I I don't even like gravy. Growing up, I loved gravy. Where's my

mom? Loved gravy. Just give me substance, amen. Amen, my friend. Listen what this says. Ministry

of Healing, page 51 says, "The savior's life on Earth was a life of communion, a life of what, friends? A life of

communion with nature, in nature, and with God. In this communion, in this communion, Jesus has revealed to

us the secret, the what? The secret of a life OF POWER." COMMUNION.

Prayer is the secret of A LIFE OF POWER. AND THAT'S why 2 Thessalonians chapter 3 verse 1 and verse 5 says, "This know

also, in the last days, perilous times shall come. Men shall be lovers of their own selves,

etc., etc." And verse number 5 says, "Having a form of godliness, a form of Christianity, a form of the remnant

church, a form of Seventh-day Adventism, but denying the power thereof." And what was that secret of power? It

says, "Communing in nature with his father." This was the secret of a LIFE OF WHAT? POWER.

PRESENT Truth Sabbath Convocation, I want this power. How about you, my friend? Do you want it? Listen what this

says. The only reason for our lack of power with God is to be found in ourselves. The people are not growing in

grace. The next sentence, I want you all to listen and watch this carefully and ask yourself, is this me? Red word, it

says, a hurried prayer a hurried prayer is offered now and then but there is no real COMMUNION WITH GOD.

Here's my chorus as if I'm singing a song. Lord, teach us to pray. Impactful, amen.

Lord You can put your hand down now. Lord, TEACH US TO PRAY.

LISTEN WHAT THIS SAYS HERE, my friends. Watch carefully. Give it to me. It says, the same dangers still exist as activity

increases and men become successful in doing any work for God, there's danger of trusting to what? Human what? Plans

and methods. There is a tendency to pray how? To pray less and to have less faith. To pray less and to have less

faith. Prayer with faith, like the disciples, we are in danger of losing sight of our dependence on God. Let's

read and seeking to make our savior of our activity. Lord, teach us to pray. Prayer is your cornerstone. Prayer is

not gravy. If that's clear, my friend, say amen. So, the next time you eat a meal and you

see that gravy, remember on June 6th, I told you by God's grace, don't treat prayer as the gravy in the meal. Prayer

is the main course. James chapter 5, go there with me. My job today, my friends, is very simple. Is to put your hand in

the hand of Christ. That's my job. And when that is accomplished, I've done my mission. Is that point clear? Go to

James chapter 5 with me. There are too many Christians in the SDA community and in the Sunday community who don't have a

genuine biblical experience. They know about some truth, but no don't know the truth.

Who is Christ by experience? James chapter 5, look what the Bible says in verse 15. And if you're there,

my friends, just say amen. The Bible says, "And the prayer of faith shall what?" "The prayer of faith shall what?"

"Shall save." And we're told in the book Education, page 257, that the prayer of faith must be studied as if we're giving

a Bible study. Prayer and faith is a divine science. It's a what, my friends? It's a divine science. Watch me

carefully. The majority of us, even young people who are now in school, yes, in prep school, primary school, high

school, now in college and university. Many of us, what we do, we spend more time and we study the science of

biology. But not THE SCIENCE OF PRAYER. WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME STUDYING the

science of chemistry. But not THE SCIENCE OF PRAYER. WE SPEND SO much time studying the science of

physics. NOT THE SCIENCE OF PRAYER. WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME studying the science of

astronomy. Not the science of prayer. We spend so much time studying the science of

psychology. Not the science of prayer. We spend so much time studying the science of

sociology, not the science of prayer. Even studying the science of politics, political

science, but not the science of prayer. If that's clear, my friends, say amen. And that's why we're told that

in the book The Great Controversy, page 519, that Satan will lose all whom he can lead

to neglect to negate prayer and the searching of scriptures will be overcome by his attacks.

Therefore, Satan invents every possible device to engross our minds. And some of you are now saying, "Pastor,

I would love to pray, but I'm so busy." What are you busy with? Hear what this statement says, because

those who use that excuse, "I'm so busy." I want to be very clear, if you're very busy, you have no time to

commune with God, then one day very, very soon God will remove those things that you claim that make you busy. You

have no time for prayer. Watch this. Do you want to lose your home? Lose your job? Oh, I must work. Of

course you must work, but don't allow work to keep you from communing with Christ.

Why do you think God brought you here? To waste time? Huh?

Imagine you leave here, what did you learn? Pastor Brett, you preached the word this

morning. Let me add to it. Listen what this says, we should now acquaint ourselves with

God by proving his promises. Angels record every prayer that is earnest and sincere. We should rather

dispense with selfish gratification than neglect communion with God. The deepest poverty, the greatest self-denial with

God's approval is better than riches, honors, ease, and friendship without it. Everybody, read the next line with me.

We must take time to pray. Thank you for your participation. Let me finish up. If we allow our minds to be absorbed by

worldly interests, the Lord may give us time to pray. How? By removing from us our idols of gold, of houses, of what?

Of fertile lands. And that's why we're told in the book, The Desire of Ages, page 635,

while the student over here, while the student center, while the student is busily seeking knowledge of everything

but their Bibles and pray, God brings the close of probation. Is that point clear?

So, pastor, what is prayer? We're told prayer is the opening of the heart to God as with a friend.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God with a friend. Don't tell me you came here and learned nothing.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend, as to a spouse. Do I hear amen? That's volume 4, page 533,

Lord, teach us to pray. I want you all to understand that Luke chapter 11 and verse number one did not say, Lord,

teach us how to pray. The word how is not in the verse, of course it implies a how. But Lord,

teach us to pray over here. Lord, teach us to pray over here. Lord, teach us to pray. It means teach us the reasons

to pray. >> [snorts] >> If that's you, say amen. Let's go now to

Matthew 26 for what primary chief reason did Christ bring the disciples into Gethsemane and told them, "Watch and

pray." What was about to happen? Beloved, church and state were about to unite to capture and crucify Jesus. So

Christ brought them into Gethsemane for what purpose? To watch and pray. Is church, is state, are church and state

uniting right now? Is the mark of the beast coming, brothers and sisters? You wait until I get to the current

events. The what, my friends? You wait until I get to the current events. Is the mark of the beast crisis about to

take place? Lord, teach us to pray the reasons to pray. And Christ told them, "Come into Gethsemane. Watch and pray."

Why? "You're going to need a faith that you DO NOT NOW POSSESS. You're going to need strength that you

do not now possess." Lord, teach us to pray. WHAT ELSE was coming while they were in Gethsemane?

The betrayer was about to be revealed. And many of us, we are about to experience

terrible betrayal. But betrayal from whom? Psalm 55, the psalmist David wrote, "If it wasn't an enemy that

betrayed me, I could have borne it. But it was my acquaintance. It was my friend." my friend. And Matthew chapter

10 and verse 34 says, "A man's foes shall be where?" "A man's foes shall be they of his own

household." Yes, my friends. And our our foe can be sleeping right beside us

IN BED. YOUR WIFE, YOUR HUSBAND. Great Controversy page

597, the four silken cords of affection, people that will betray you. Number one,

conjugal. That's your spouse. Number two, parental. That's your parents. Betrayal from your parents because

you're living present truth. Number three, number three, filial. That's your children.

Your your your children children will betray parents because parents are walk in the light of present truth, Bible

truth, but not children. They have become lovers of the world. And number four, social, your friends.

Lord, teach me to pray what was coming in Gethsemane. My friends, shaking and sifting. Was Peter almost shaken out?

Lord, teach me to pray the reasons to pray because we're now living in the shaking and sifting time. Lord, finish

it, my friends. Teach me to pray the reasons to pray. Did Christ see a need for strength? While he was there in

Gethsemane. Why? Because persecution and death were coming. Question, when the mark of the beast is enforced, what will

happen to God's commandment-keeping people, God's seventh-day Sabbath-keeping people? Will they be

persecuted? Will they also encounter a death decree? Will they also be threatened that they

won't be able to buy or sell? Lord, finish it. Teach me to pray the reasons to pray.

IS THE SEAL OF GOD COMING? Are some going to be sealed? Are others going to be marked for damnation, marked

for destruction? Lord, teach me to pray. Let's add the word now. Lord, teach us how to pray. Go to Luke chapter 11 and

take a writing instrument and put that word in the margin. Lord, teach us how to pray as John taught his disciples to

pray. And beloved, when this is over, I'm going to share with you a golden nugget. I want to challenge you with

this question. Can anyone find me a scripture where John taught his disciples how to pray?

If you find me that scripture, I'll give you a present. And I can keep all my presents cuz you

can't find one. So, what does that verse mean? Lord, teach me, teach us to pray as John

taught his disciples. What scripture said that John taught his disciples to pray? Find me that text.

I'll give you a gift. How many of you are here? I got 10.

And you will not get one. Find me a scripture. Let's go. Lord, teach us how to pray. I'll give you 10. Number one,

my friends, when you pray, pray aloud to God alone. Prayer is not gravy. Prayer is your

cornerstone. And my friends, if you don't implement these 10 things, you're going to be lost. You're what, my

friends? If you don't implement these 10 things I give you, you are going to be lost. Number one, what was number one?

Pray to God aloud. Pray to him alone. Go with me to Daniel chapter 6.

You don't hear prayer being emphasized. It's a foundation. It's the secret of a life of power. Now, young man, don't

stretch on me. Am I boring? Don't yawn on me. Come on. Am I boring?

All right, friends. We know let's pray for God to keep us awake. Chapter 6 of Daniel, get a writing instrument and

mark verse 11. What verse? And mark verse 13. Pray to God aloud alone. Look what this says, my friends. Watch

carefully. It says, "Did Daniel Did Daniel cease to pray because the death decree

had gone into force? No. That was just the time when Daniel needed to pray." Blue words. "Daniel did not pray in his

heart." One more time. "Daniel did not pray in his mind, but with his voice aloud, brothers and sisters." Did Daniel

pray aloud? I have something for you. You were stretching. Oh, I got something for you. A songwriter says, "Dare to be

a Daniel. Dare to stand alone. Dare to have a purpose firm and dare to make it known."

Live like Daniel. He prayed aloud, brothers and sisters. Is that point clear? Listen what this

statement says. "Learn to pray short and write to the point." Do I hear amen? "Learn to pray aloud.

Learn to pray how? Aloud, where only God can hear you." If that's clear, my friends, say amen.

But some people will now say, "Pastor, if I pray aloud, the devil is going to hear my prayers."

So, what? So, what? If you are sincere, Satan can't stop the

prayer from being answered. If you're saying, "Pastor, I won't pray aloud, the devil will hear my prayer."

You are implying that Satan can't stop God from blessing you. That's heresy. As a matter of fact, do

you know what is more telling? When he hears your prayer and he can't stop it. It tells you THAT SATAN IS POWERLESS.

THAT GOD IS OMNIPOTENT. That God is more powerful. Listen what this says, "AND THE SOUND OF fervent

prayer Satan's whole hosts trembles."

HE SATAN continues to call legions of evil angels to accomplish his devious objective. And when angels from heaven,

all powerful from heaven, clothed with the armory of heaven, come to the help of the fainting is that you pursued

soul. Is that you? Let's read. "Satan and [laughter] all his HOSTS FALL BACK and wonder why when knowing that THEIR

BATTLE IS LOST." LET him hear the prayer. Pray out aloud. Number two. Come on. Come on. Number

two. My time is going. Number two. Number two. My friends, have you ever prayed and in the midst of your prayer,

your mind begin to stray? You say, "Our Father, dear Lord, help me."

And by help me, you start sleeping. And drooling. Or your mind is somewhere else.

Because you're praying in your mind. There are time and places you pray in your mind.

But there are other times you pray out aloud to God alone. Watch this now. And by speaking aloud to God and you move

your lips, "Dear Lord, help me today as I preach this sermon that your people understand and receive present truth."

As you're moving your lips, it's way more difficult for the mind to stray. Go to 1 Samuel chapter 1. Lord, teach us to

pray as John the Baptist taught his disciples to pray. The modern-day John the Baptist will teach

the people how to pray and pray effectively that they might receive power.

1 Samuel chapter 1. If you're there, just say amen. Mark your Bible. 1 Samuel chapter 1. Look carefully at verse 13.

Everybody mark that. Now, Anna spake in her heart. Her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. What was she doing, my

friends? Her lips were moving. Listen what this statement says. They cut that. Blue words. If the mind wanders while

you're praying, we must bring it back. Amen. By persevering effort, habit will finally make it easy. Bring that mind

back by praying out aloud. If that's clear, my friends, say amen. Number three, have a special place to pray.

Have a what? Go to John chapter 18. Have a special place to pray. And what was Christ's special place for prayer? Does

anyone know? The Ah, I heard it. Christ's special place

for prayer was where? Come on. In the garden of Gethsemane. John chapter 18, verse 1 and verse two. And there must be

a special place for prayer. Just find one. As Matthew chapter six and verse number six says, "When thou prayest,

enter thou into thy closet and shut the door. Remove all distractions and pray to your heavenly Father in secret. And

your Father which seeth in secret, what will he do? Finish it. He will reward thee how?

Openly. Praise God. Your prayer place can be in your room, by the bedside. It can be in a literal

closet where clothes are in the closet. It can be in the backyard, on the back patio. It could even be in the bushes.

Amen. Country living, in the bushes. Find a special place for prayer. Number four,

my friends, pray five times a day. Pray what? I want everyone to listen. Pray five times a day. Everybody, go to

Psalm 55 and verse 17. Go to Psalm 55. Pray five times a day. And this is where I'm going to challenge professed SDAs.

The five times of prayer, the five times for prayer in the Bible is from sunset to sunset, from evening to evening.

Everybody watch carefully. Those of you who profess to be a seventh-day Sabbath keeper, when does the biblical Sabbath

When does God's Sabbath begin? Come on. Sunset Friday to sunset

Saturday, commonly called God's Sabbath. Sunset Friday to sunset Sabbath. Beloved, do you know what God has given

to us daily so we can be 100% Sabbath keeper is for us to pray five times a day.

From evening to morning to noon, late afternoon to evening, from evening to evening.

And one reason why many professed Seventh-day Adventist don't keep the whole day holy is because throughout the

week they don't pray five times a day. Let that sink in. Many professed SDAs are actually people who keep just the

morning holy. And as soon as what they call the divine service, as soon as midday service is

over, for them it's time to go to sleep. It's nap time. For them it's time to go out and walk

the mall. It's to go play, to go watch this that's secular, and listen to that thing that

is secular, and to hold secular conversations. Do you Do you know what I call them? I call them 50% Sabbath

keeper. And make no mistake about it, you're either 100% a Christian OR YOU'RE NOT A

CHRISTIAN. Watch this. You're either 100% a Sabbath keeper or

YOU'RE NOT A SABBATH KEEPER. Let me see how many of you will leave when the sermon is over.

We are told, my friends, we must be 100% Christ. Not half-and-half. If we are half

Christian and half [laughter] the world, we are 100% the world. Christ Object Lessons, page 118. Almost,

but not wholly saved means to me means to be not almost, but fully WHOLLY LOST. PSALM 55, [laughter] look what the Bible

says in verse 17. If you're there, just say amen. The Bible says evening, morning, and at noon will I what? Will I

pray. Stop right there. When is evening, that's sunset. When is morning, that's early just before the sun rises. When is

noon time, of course, 12:00 p.m. Evening, morning, and at noon, and later on I'm going to share with you the third

hour and the ninth hour. That's five times a day. Here's my point. The same God that says remember the Sabbath day

to keep it holy is the same God that says pray five times a day. So, question for you, what is somebody knowingly

reject God's seven-day Sabbath? Will that person be saved or be lost? Talk to me. Be lost. Uh-huh, you said

it. SO, WHAT IF GOD SAYS pray evening, morning, and at noon, but you don't? Can that person be saved?

If you say yes, what you're saying is you can know what truth is and disregard truth and still be saved, but God that

is spiritualism. Some of you said, "You mean this man flew from Georgia to come here to talk

about prayer?" You mean he allowed us to drive from Westmoreland

from Hanover to come to Kingston west to east to come here about prayer?

Huh? Yeah, prayer. Huh?

NINE MONTHS JOURNEY. START THE journey between now and spring 2027.

We'll begin to pray. How many times per day? How many times per day? Five times per day. Lord, teach us to pray as John

the Baptist taught the disciples to pray. Psalm 55:17. Evening. Well, let's go with evening. Go

to Matthew chapter 14. Let's find the evening. Matthew, what chapter we going to, my friends? Matthew chapter 14. Look

at verse 23. That's evening prayer. That's what the Bible says. Go to Mark chapter 1. Put it down. Mark chapter 1

and verse 35. All read this one. It says, "In the morning, rising up a great while before day, Jesus went out and

departed into a solitary place and there prayed." What God instructed, God did. And we cannot see what God instructed

and rejected and still think we're going to BE SAVED. PRAY FIVE times a day. Evening, morning.

Let's go to noon time. Go to ACTS CHAPTER 10. THAT'S WHAT CHAPTER we going to, my friends? Talk to me. Look

carefully at verse number nine. That's in the noon time. Evening, morning, at noon. Let's find our third hour. Third

hour is 9:00 a.m. What time? It's 9:00 a.m. Let's go to Acts chapter 2. Acts chapter 2. Look carefully at verse 15.

That's the third hour. And what were they doing on the day of Pentecost? The third hour, they were praying. Put down

Acts chapter 1 and verse 14. With Acts chapter 2 verse 1 through verse 4, you have evening. You have

morning. You have 9:00 a.m. You have noon time. What is the next one? Number four. My friend, it's called the ninth

hour, which is 3:00 p.m. Go with me in your Bibles to Acts chapter 3. Look at verse 1. I'm going to read this one for

you. Are you ready, my friends? This man called us from Portland to come talk about prayer.

Look at Acts chapter 3. Are we there, my friends? It says, "Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the

hour of what, everybody?" No, no, no. Everybody talk to me. At the hour of what?

One more time. At the hour of what? At the hour of prayer, being the what? Being the NINTH HOUR.

SO, WHAT TIME OF THE day does the Bible say is the hour of prayer? The ninth hour. So, if the Bible says,

"Pray at the ninth hour," if you don't, can you be saved? Mhm. If you don't, can you be saved?

Fix your glass. Amen. If you don't, can you be saved? If God says, "Remember the seventh day to keep

it holy." If you reject that instruction, can you be saved? All right. And what is Sabbath worship

for? Do we not come to study God's word? To hear God's word? Do we also come to

church to pray? Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. No man can disregard the

seventh-day Sabbath and still be saved. So, no man can disregard the times of prayer and still be saved. And here's

why. If you don't pray and commune with God, you don't know God. AND THAT'S WHY in Matthew chapter 7,

Christ will say to many that will say to him, "Lord, Lord." "Lord, Lord." And Christ will say, "Not

every man that say unto me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into my kingdom." I wonder why? Because they said, "Lord,

Lord." But they don't know me. So, Christ will say, "Depart from me. I never

knew you. You was at work iniquity." If that's clear, my friend, say amen. Pray five times a day. The ninth hour

was an hour OF PRAYER. THERE'S SO MANY PEOPLE who don't even pray twice a day.

And this pastor has called us to the AC Marriott Hotel to tell us now we must pray five times a day.

Five times a day, but I said Many profess Christians don't even pray two times a day.

If you can't pray two times, how you going to pray five times? If you are never praying twice a day,

how are you going to pray five times a day? But this is the biblical ideal. So, you can become one with Christ.

The sad reality is there are many people who are not Christians that pray five times a day.

And they're not Christians. Beloved, look at Muslims. Give it to me. Give it to me. Muslims. It says Muslims,

who my friends? Muslims, who my friends, one more time, who?

Muslims pray five times a day as a core pillar of Islam, establishing a daily spiritual connection with God.

And these prayers are obligatory. These prayers are non-negotiable. Five times a day.

But most of us are Christians. And yet we profess to be Christians. We have our Bibles and many of us don't even pray

five times a day. And that's why I believe that there are going to be some Muslims

that will be converted from Islam and join Christianity and join the remnant church and take the places of many

professed Christians in God's remnant movement. To the place of many professed Seventh-day Adventists.

Let me confirm that from scripture. Go to Acts chapter 10. Where are we going to, my friends? Go to

Acts chapter 10. There was a man by the name of Cornelius. And Cornelius was not a Jew.

Cornelius was a Roman. And the Bible says Cornelius prayed at the ninth hour. Where are we going to,

my friends? Acts chapter 10. Look at verse one. Cornelius from the Italian band. Verse

two, a devout man. Verse two, he feared God. Verse two, he gave alms to the people. Verse two, and prayed to God how

often? How often? Always. Verse three, at what time of the day was Cornelius praying

when God gave him the vision to go send for Simon Peter at what time of the day you watch this message? You haven't

heard anything yet. At what time? AT THE NINTH HOUR. BUT CORNELIUS WAS NOT A JEW.

But yet he was faithful in praying to God always. Could it be the five intervals of the day? He prayed at the

ninth hour, 3:00 p.m. What time was Christ on Calvary's cross? At the sixth hour. Until when? The ninth

hour, 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. DID CHRIST PRAY AT THE SIXTH HOUR? DID CHRIST PRAY AT THE ninth hour?

Lord, teach us to pray as John TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES TO PRAY. GO TO MATTHEW 20. In Matthew 20, you

find all five seasons of prayer. The parable of the vineyard, the parable of the laborer. And Christ called men to

go work in the vineyard. And the vineyard represents what? Not country ground, not country living. No, no, no.

The vineyard represents primarily our mind. He came at the first hour. He sent them

out to work in the vineyard. The third hour, he came and they were found idle. The sixth hour, he came, he found them

idle. The ninth hour, he came and found them idle. He was to come THE 12TH HOUR. FIRST, THIRD, SIXTH, NINTH, 12TH. FIVE

INTERVALS, five seasons to work on your character. And the hall is silent.

ARE THESE POINTS CLEAR MY FRIENDS? NUMBER SIX, HOW LONG SHOULD I PRAY at these intervals? My friends, pray until

the curse of sin is broken. How long should I pray at these intervals of the day? Pray until the shackles TO SIN ARE

BROKEN. How long should I pray? Pray until YOU FEEL STRENGTH.

CHRIST WAS IN GETHSEMANE. How many times did Christ pray in Gethsemane? Before he received strength, THREE

TIMES. That means if Christ had received strength the first time, he would not have prayed three times.

He prayed until he received what everybody? An angel came down and strengthened him for the crisis. Lord,

teach us to pray. Pray until you feel strong in God. Messages to young people page 131 says,

go to God in prayer. I saw how this grace could be obtained. Go to God. Go to God in prayer in your

closet and there alone plead with God. And what must you plead? Create in me a clean heart, oh God. Renew a right

spirit within me. Be earnest. Be sincere. Jacob-like. Jacob-like. Wrestle with God in prayer.

Don't stop praying until you feel strong in God. Then watch and just as long as you watch and pray, you can keep evil

besetments under and THE GRACE OF GOD CAN AND WILL appear in you. Lord, TEACH ME TO PRAY.

HOW LONG SHOULD I PRAY? Pray until you're converted. And that might take you all night.

Because Jacob wrestled with God HOW LONG? HOW LONG?

Genesis chapter 2, verse 24 through verse 30. Jacob wrestled with God until he was converted. How long should you

pray? Until you're converted. And we're told the season of distress and anguish

before us will require a faith. A faith that can endure weariness,

delay, hunger. A faith that will not faint though it is severely tried. This period of probation has been granted to

all to prepare for that time. JACOB PREVAILED because he was persevering and determined. His victory is the evidence

of potent prayer. But all who refuse to pray like Jacob, we're told wrestling with God, how few know what IT

IS. HOW FEW HAVE EVER HAD their souls drawn out before God with intensity AND THEIR

POWER IS ON the stretch when waves of despair, which no language can express, SWEEPS OVER THE SUPPLIANT. How few cling

to the promises of God. Lord, teach me TO PRAY. GO to Luke 11. Number seven, when you pray, PRAY GOD'S WORD. Pray

what, my friends? Pray the promises of God. So, pastor, in the morning, "How long must I pray?" Pray until you feel

strong. May I ask you a question? Do I ask you how long you must sit and have breakfast?

When you stop eating? When you're satisfied. Do I ask you how long is lunch?

No, you eat until you're what? Satisfied. How long must you commune with God? Five times a day, until you're

what? UNTIL YOU FEEL STRONG. THAT'S WHEN YOU PAUSE and go back now to your daily chores. If that's clear, my friend, say

amen. Lord, TEACH US TO PRAY as John the Baptist taught his disciples. Luke chapter 11, verse one, verse two. When

you pray, say. Say what? Pray the words of God. If that's clear, my friend, say amen. Number eight, number eight. My

friends, when you pray, make sure you surrender every known sin to Christ. THE PHARISEE, THE PUBLICAN went to

church and the Bible says they went to worship. But the Bible says it was only the publican who smote his chest, his

breast. And what did he say to God? "God, be merciful unto me, a sinner." And the Bible says this man went down to

his HOUSE JUSTIFIED. AND WHAT DOES JUSTIFIED MEAN? COME ON NOW. WHAT DOES JUSTIFIED MEAN?

It means forgiven. It means pardon. So, the publican was pardoned. >> [laughter]

>> The publican was what? Forgiven because he prayed and surrendered. There are conditions for us to receive

the blessing from God in prayer. This man called us here to talk about prayer. Yes, there are conditions that

we must meet in order for us to receive the blessings from God. All right, I'm going to step on your toe right now. How

many of you have been holding a grudge towards somebody else? How many of you know you

have not yet forgiven anybody? Somebody, a spouse who hurt you, a family member who hurt you, a parent who

hurt you, a oh my A FRIEND. THE BIBLE SAYS in [laughter] Matthew chapter 6 and verse number 12, "Lord, forgive me of my

debts as I forgive those who are in debt to me." Debtors of mine, if you DON'T FORGIVE OTHERS, GOD

WILL NOT CANNOT. HE'S GOD. He's God. HE WILL NOT FORGIVE.

SO, WE CAN TALK ABOUT PRAYER, but if you don't surrender the spirit of grudge, envy. Yes, my friends, malice,

unforgiveness, your prayers will not be heard and Christ will say, "Depart from me. I NEVER

>> [screaming] >> KNEW YOU." LORD, TEACH ME TO PRAY.

WATCH THIS. Have people despised you? Verbally abused you? Look at the life of Job. In Job 42 and

verse number 10, the Bible says that God turned the captivity of Job when Job prayed for his friends. And his friends

verbally abused Job, but Job, once he prayed for them, that was when GOD TURNED HIS CAPTIVITY. And the question

is, why did it take 42 chapters? IF JOB HAD DONE THAT IN CHAPTER 42, then

God would have turned, delivered Job LONG BEFORE CHAPTER 42. IMAGINE RIGHT NOW WE ARE 42 chapters in

the book of Job. It could have simply have been four chapters. Merciful Father.

And God blessed him twice. And many of [clears throat] us will never receive deliverance BECAUSE OF THE

SPIRIT OF UNFORGIVENESS. And many of us will never get the breakthrough, country living, practical

preparation. Yes, my friends, being used by God because YOUR HEARTS ARE FILTHY, DIRTY,

the scum of the ground, grotesque,

pungent to one's smell. Lord, TEACH US TO PRAY. AND THE BIBLE SAYS THAT there conditions to your prayer. I'm going to

step on your toe one more time. Please, allow me in the name of Jesus. The Bible says,

"He that turneth away his ear Who told you all to come front seat? Hm? Front row.

He that turneth away, what happened? Your phone ran out? You were recording. What happened? I'm

going too long, the battery died? Can somebody give him more space on his phone, please?

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is abomination,

brothers and sisters. You mean you left from Georgia to come talk about prayer?

BUT THE BIBLE SAYS IF YOU turn your ear from hearing his law, your prayer IS ABOMINATION.

IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU KNOW THE SEVENTH commandment says, "Thou shall not commit adultery." If you're still committing

adultery, but you come to church to pray, you haven't surrendered that adultery.

Your prayer is abomination. If you know you should not kill, not only physically, but you kill PEOPLE

WITH THAT TONGUE. YOU MALICE. YOU BACKBITE. You stab your brother. Stab your sister, your blood

sister, your blood brother, your church brother, your church sister. Hi, brother. Happy Sabbath. Let me give you

a hug. IN THE BACK. YOU COME TO CHURCH ABOUT PRAYER. YOU CAN

go ahead and pray, but if you have not surrendered, YOUR PRAYER, THE BIBLE SAYS, is abomination.

IF YOU KNOW THE SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH IS not Sunday, but you reject God's seventh-day Sabbath, commonly called

Saturday, GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY, and say, "Oh, I'm going to pray." YOUR PRAYER IS ABOMINATION.

PROVERBS 28. BUT DIDN'T you bring your neighbors here?

Let God talk to them. Don't say, "Pastor is too harsh." LET GOD PREACH.

PROVERBS 28. Look at verse nine. The Bible says, "He that turneth away his ear from keeping the law, even his

what? His prayer shall be what? Abomination." Those of you on my right-hand side, what is synonymous to

the word abomination? What is abomination? Sin. That means your prayer can become

what? Sin. Your prayer can be called sin. Go to Psalm 109. Psalm 109. The Bible says, if you

turneth away your ear from keeping God's law, YOUR PRAYER IS NOW SIN.

How could that be? I'm praying, "Father in heaven, bless me." And that prayer is sin?

You live from foreign land to come talk about prayer. Psalm 109. Are we there, my friends? Go to verse five. And they

have rewarded me evil for good and hatred for my love. Verse six, "Set thou a wicked man over him. And let Satan

stand at his right hand." Not God, but Satan stands at his RIGHT HAND. AND WHAT DOES RIGHT hand typify in the Bible? IT

TYPIFIES POWER. SO, WHO IS NOW EMPOWERING THESE PEOPLE? NOT GOD, BUT WHOM? BUT SATAN. LOOK AT

VERSE SEVEN. "When he shall be judged, let him be condemned." Let's all read now. "And let HIS PRAYER BECOME SIN."

PRAYER IS THE CORNERSTONE. LET HIS PRAYER BECOME SIN. AND VERSE 13 THROUGH VERSE 15, THOSE PEOPLE, their names will

be blotted OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE. I WANT MY NAME to be the Lamb's Book of Life. How about

you? Do you want YOUR NAME TO BE FOUND IN the Lamb's Book of Life?

Lord, TEACH US TO PRAY. DO I hear amen? Number nine, as you pray, fast. As you pray, what? Fast. MATTHEW CHAPTER 17

AND VERSE number 21, those who are demon-possessed, what does Jesus say? HOWBEIT THIS KIND

HOWBEIT THIS KIND GOETH NOT OUT BUT BY PRAYER and fasting. As you pray, fast. But my

friends, today I want to share, WHY DO YOU FAST? YOU SEE, FRIENDS, AS you fast, you're strengthening your yes muscle and

strengthening your no muscle. Those of you not your SDA, when you say I'm going to fast for a day,

naturally you feel hungry. Naturally, that is a desire to eat. But you say, "Lord, take away this desire to eat

food. I want to focus on your word." So in that day of fasting and praying, you are

learning to say yes to God and no to your desires. Because sin originates from a desire.

You are learning to say yes to God and no to self. Yes to God and no to a good desire. SO

WHEN SATAN COMES with evil, you can now say yes to GOD AND WHAT? NO! TO SATAN. AS YOU PRAY, FAST.

Strengthening your yes muscle to God. Strengthening your no muscle to self, to Satan, and to sin. If that's clear, MY

FRIEND, SAY AMEN. And if WE CAN'T SAY NO TO SATAN, you are a sin addict.

IF YOU CAN'T SAY NO TO SELF, YOU ARE A sin addict. HOW MANY TIMES we look at the drug addicts out there. Are we any

better? The crack addict, but we are sin addicts. THE COCAINE ADDICT,

but we are sin addicts. The heroin addict, but we are sin addicts. >> [snorts]

>> The prostitution addict, but we are SIN ADDICT. HOW DIFFERENT ARE WE if we can't say no

to sin? Then we are sin addicts. But praise God. Jesus came to set addicts free

FROM ADDICTIONS. DO YOU WANT DELIVERANCE? The spirit of the Lord is upon me, Jesus

said that Sabbath. He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor and to set AT LIBERTY

TO BRING DELIVERANCE. DO YOU WANT DELIVERANCE? DO YOU WANT LIBERTY? AS YOU PRAY, FAST.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHURCH say with me, LORD CHURCH, BY YOUR GRACE CHURCH,

I will no longer be a sin addict church. HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M a sin addict? Romans chapter 7. The Bible says

in verse 18 through verse 25, the things I KNOW WHICH ARE WRONG, THOSE THINGS I DO. THE things I know

which are right, those things I don't do. THAT IS A SIGN YOU have withdrawal syndrome.

You're no different THAN THE GANJA smoking addict. YOU'RE A SIN ADDICT.

YOU'RE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE METHAMPHETAMINE ADDICT. YOU'RE A SIN ADDICT. YOU'RE NO

DIFFERENT THAN THE liquor drinker, the liquor the alcoholic, THE LIQUOR ADDICT. YOU'RE A SIN ADDICT. But today, we must

confess with our mouth SO CHRIST can deliver us. Repeat after ME, CHURCH. LORD, BY YOUR GRACE, CHURCH.

I WILL NO LONGER BE A SIN ADDICT, CHURCH. BUT WHEN YOU SAY THAT, THE MIND IS

SAYING, "You're a liar." As soon as the sun set, come on over here. AS SOON AS THE SUN SET, YOU GO RIGHT

BACK TO YOUR ADDICTION. The mind is saying, "You're not serious." And the devil is saying,

"Okay, say whatever you want to say in church right now, BUT WHEN SUN SETS, come on join me."

The addiction is real. If that's a fact, say amen, my friends. So today, WE WANT TO PROVE TO GOD AND

PROVE to ourselves we're no longer a sin addict. [screaming] HOW CAN THAT BE? WELL, MY FRIENDS, watch this. When you

are tempted, don't conceive the temptation. When sinful thoughts enter, remember

these words. Second Corinthians chapter 10, VERSE 3 THROUGH VERSE 5. FOR THE WEAPONS OF OUR warfare are NOT CARNAL,

BUT MIGHTY THROUGH GOD TO THE PULLING DOWN of stronghold. And verse FIVE SAYS, CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS and every high

THING THAT EXALTETH itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into CAPTIVITY EVERY

THOUGHT TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST. THAT'S NUMBER 10. Casting

down EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTS itself against THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD. IT'S RIGHT HERE, MY FRIENDS. It says, we find even

among the clergy, PASTORS READ WORDS, PASTORS ARE addicted to filthy weed. Is that ganja?

Filthy weed. Is that marijuana? PASTORS ADDICTED TO filthy weed. Is that you? ADDICTED TO TOBACCO. ADDICTED TO

THE PERVERTS OF THE APPETITE. ADDICTED TO STRONGER STIMULANT.

IS THAT YOU, MY FRIENDS? ADDICTED TO WINE, ALCOHOL, HENNESSY. YES, TOBACCO, OPIUM, CIGARETTES.

AND THOSE who are addicted TO SELF-ABUSE. PORNOGRAPHY, MASTURBATION,

SELF-ABUSE, ADDICTION MUST BE KICKED.

IF THAT'S CLEAR, MY FRIENDS, SAY AMEN. NUMBER 10. And like Joseph, YOU WATCH THIS. LIKE JOSEPH, we must

say, "How can I do this great wickedness

and sin against who? AND SIN AGAINST GOD?" [screaming] PHILIPPIANS CHAPTER 4 and verse 13, I

can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH strengtheneth me. Do you all

believe that, my friends? I can do how many things? ALL THINGS. PRAYER, BELIEVING BECAUSE YOU REALIZE

WHAT SIN DOES TO CHRIST. BECAUSE SIN WILL never hurt you enough to cause you to leave sin.

AND THAT'S WHY WE MUST SEE WHAT SIN DOES TO CHRIST. WHAT IS THE MOTTO HERE IN JAMAICA? We

all learn growing up out of what? OUT OF WHAT? OUT OF MANY, ONE PEOPLE. That's the

Jamaican motto. BUT BASED ON THE BIBLE AND SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, WHAT IS OUR MOTTO? VOLUME 5 PAGE 147 says,

"DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR OR THE TRANSGRESSION

OF GOD'S LAW SHOULD BE THE MOTTO OF EVERY CHRISTIAN." LORD, BY YOUR GRACE, I WILL NOT BE A SIN

ADDICT. Is that your motto today, my friends? IS THAT YOUR MOTTO TODAY?

TEMPTATIONS, ONCE RESISTED, WILL OFTEN GIVE POWER TO MORE FIRMLY RESIST A SECOND TIME.

LORD, BY YOUR GRACE, I will no longer be >> [clears throat]

>> a sin addict. Are these the words of your motto today? Prayer

should be your cornerstone. Do you have anything for me? Prayer should be your cornerstone.

Without this experience, you're lost. We can't be a 10% SDA.

God wants 100% Christians. This namby-pamby prayer

must stop. This horrid prayer needs to stop. Take the 9-month journey together.

You'll find your Christian experience will grow. You'll be stronger in Jesus. If you wake up in the morning,

you decide to take the challenge. I'm going to begin to pray five times a day. Remember, when noon time comes,

you can simply step aside for a minute. Just step aside for a minute. It's a principle about the Sabbath.

You don't work a secular job and still say you're keeping the Sabbath. So, when it's time for communion, you

step away from the job. Take a bathroom a restroom break. Just talk to God.

How long? I don't know. It's how long you need to receive strength.

Then you go back to your job. Set your alarm clock. Don't you have a phone? His phone is dead. Set your alarm

clock. And at 3:00 p.m., when the alarm goes off, what?

You look at the time. Step aside. Just you and Jesus.

Is that point clear, my friends? Is that point clear? You go back to your job. How I don't

know how long. But watch what happens now. Let's say between 3:00 p.m.

and 6:00 p.m. in the evening when you pray. Let's say at 3:00 p.m. you prayed. And while you're on your way home at

5:00 p.m. you end up in a car accident. What if you died?

THE GOOD NEWS is you spent time with Jesus before you died.

BUT, PASTOR, THE INTERVALS ARE TOO CLOSE. 9:00 A.M.

Prayer time again? But, I just prayed. WHAT? IF THAT IS YOUR MENTALITY, are you ready

for heaven? ARE YOU READY FOR HEAVEN? IT'S MY EXPERIENCE.

IT'S MY TESTIMONY. I'M SHARING WITH YOU. LET'S TAKE THE 9-MONTH JOURNEY TOGETHER. AND WHAT HAPPENS IS YOU grow to love

Christ more. And what happens is as you're praying early in the morning, 9:00 a.m., 12:00

noon, 3:00 p.m., sunset, what happens is you feel surrounded with holy angels. YOU'RE IN CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WITH

HEAVEN. [screaming] I HEAR SOME PREACHERS READ EARLY WRITINGS, READ VOLUME NINE, page 14

THROUGH PAGE 16 WHEN THE SUNDAY LAW IS PASSED AND GOD'S PEOPLE ARE SEALED.

And then comes persecution. We're told we will walk in the light streaming from heaven. AND THERE'LL BE DIRECT

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN EARTH AND HEAVEN. AND I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED HOW CAN we have that spiritual experience if we pray

five times a day? Every day. There angels surrounding us.

Our sinful father. Every day we have on the whole armor of God.

EVERY DAY WE ARE CONNECTED. EVERY DAY WE breathe the atmosphere of heaven. UNTIL PRAYER BECOMES THE BREATH

of the soul. Lord, TEACH US TO PRAY. WE CAN BE SO

YOU WON'T FEAR ANY SON OF THE LAW. YOU WON'T FEAR PERSECUTION BECAUSE YOU ARE SURROUNDED WITH HOLY ANGELS.

AND SISTER WHITE'S FAVORITE song was there angels hovering around. There angels hovering around. There

angels There angels There angels hovering around to the new JERUSALEM to the new JERUSALEM

TO THE NEW THE NEW the new Jerusalem to the new Jerusalem. WE CAN BE SURROUNDED WITH holy angels.

AND LIKE ENOCH, WE CAN BREATHE THE ATMOSPHERE of heaven. WE KNOW CHRIST AS A FRIEND.

Who today understood this message? If you did, raise your hand right now. And those who raised their hand, stand

to your feet right now. It's a simple appeal. Don't leave this place until you have

committed fully your life to Jesus. At such a time as this, God called this meeting

in Kingston. At such a time as this. This might be the last opportunity you have to make your calling and election

sure for Jesus. Tomorrow is not promised. It's not promised.

Do you now commit and recommit your life to Christ? Don't look at those who are standing.

Look at yourself. Lord, teach me to pray. Give me

that experience. And as this song is sung,

note it. Lord, teach us to pray as John taught his disciples.

Which scripture shows how John taught his disciples to pray?

Find me that text. I'm looking for it. I can't find it. If you do, share it with me.

But I'll tell you this. I found two scriptures that confirm everything you heard today.

Number one, in whose power and spirit did John the Baptist come?

God's, of course. God's, but in the spirit and power of whom? Elijah. Put down 1 Kings 18

and verse 36. The Bible says, Elijah

prayed at the time of the evening sacrifice. Sunset.

What time? Sunset. And if Elijah is the forerunner of John the Baptist, so whatever Elijah

did, John the Baptist did. And if you pray at the evening

sacrifice, you're praying at the beginning of the day.

Do you understand? If I had asked you, "Do you pray at the beginning of each

day?" Some would say, "Yes." If I asked a second question, "What time

is that?" You would have said, "Early in the morning."

But aren't you Bible students? When does the day begin? When does the biblical day begin?

Sunset evening. Mercy. So, the evening and the morning were the

first day. And John the Baptist and Elijah prayed at what time? Evening sacrifice, the

beginning of the day. Second scripture, "Lord, teach us to pray

as John the Baptist taught his disciples." And if you begin, you must finish.

Since Elijah began at the evening sacrifice, if he began, he must what? Finish. So, from evening to evening

celebrate your Sabbath. And from evening to evening, you pray to God daily.

And the way you pray from Sunday to Friday will show if you're a Sabbath keeper.

Merciful Father. Because you pray from evening to evening, Sunday to Friday.

So, now you celebrate your Sabbath from evening to evening, sunset to sunset, Friday to Sabbath. Is that point clear?

Last scripture, Luke chapter 1 verse 8 through verse 10. What was the name of John the Baptist's

father? His name was Zacharias. Zacharias was priest.

And Zacharias burnt incense at the time of incense, and the people

were praying without OUTSIDE AT THE TIME OF INCENSE. What does incense mean IN THE BIBLE?

PRAYER. SO, THE FATHER OF JOHN THE BAPTIST taught the people IN HIS CHURCH

TO PRAY AT THE times of incense, to pray at THE TIMES OF PRAYER. LIKE FATHER, LIKE

LIKE FATHER, LIKE LIKE SON? SO, SINCE FATHER TAUGHT THE PEOPLE TO

PRAY AT the time OF INCENSE, THE TIMES OF PRAYER. SO JOHN THE BAPTIST taught

his disciples to pray AT THE TIMES OF INCENSE, THE TIMES OF PRAYER. Evening to evening,

five times a day. Lord, teach us to pray as John the Baptist. You will know when you hear the John the Baptist message.

Today you received your foundation. Let us know what? Let's build by God's grace.

You cannot say sincerely you came here today and received no substance. If you say that, you are bearing false

witness. You're a liar. I received a blessing. Did you receive a blessing today?

At this time we're going to pray and then we get instructions for our fellowship lunch. Let's pray.

Father in heaven, thank you for gracing us with your presence today.

Elijah didn't shout in prayer. He prayed earnestly. Prayed to you as if he was talking to

his friend the savior. And the rain, the fire descended.

May the Holy Spirit May the Holy Spirit fall afresh

on every sincere person in this hall right now. Bring revival. Bring reformation.

Give us more love for you. It's to love we will surrender all to thee. Those who are not yet in the true

church, the SDA movement, may they come in. May they leave Sunday worship and leave no day worship and come to your

true day of worship before it's too late. And for the rest of us, may we remain

faithful. Death before dishonor. We thank you for your love. We thank you

for your mercies. May we continue on the 9-month journey. We send this prayer to you in the most

holy place of the heavenly sanctuary. Accept us. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray.

And those who are no longer sin addicts said, Amen. Amen.
