Introduction to the Mirror Pylon Teleportation Device
After extensive development and multiple prototypes, the Mirror Pylon has been perfected as a reliable teleportation device in Minecraft. It allows players to build teleportation points anywhere in the world and teleport to them instantly without any limitations.
Key Features
- Works in Single and Multiplayer: Functions seamlessly regardless of relogs, server restarts, or game unloads.
- Infinite Build Potential: Players can construct unlimited pylons at important locations.
- Zero Caveats: Teleportation is consistent and reliable every time.
How the Mirror Pylon Works
The device leverages ender pearl stasis chambers combined with a unique mechanic involving player line-of-sight and projectile redirection:
Mechanism Details
- Line-of-Sight Detection: Teleportation triggers when the player looks at a specific point in the sky.
- Projectile Interaction: Inspired by the behavior of ghast fireballs, the device uses breeze charges redirected by arrows to determine the player's exact viewing angle.
- Breeze Charges and Iron Golems: Breezes generate charges that interact with iron golems, enabling the system to function without player intervention.
- Precise Gaps for Activation: The redirected breeze charge passes through tiny gaps formed by blocks and soul sand, triggering the teleport.
Technical Challenges and Reliability
Creating a highly reliable system required over 30 prototype versions and complex adjustments. Detailed technical explanations and construction instructions are available in the video description for enthusiasts.
Advantages Over Traditional Transportation
- Speed: Instant teleportation to previously visited locations.
- Efficiency: Simple to build and maintain.
- Scalability: Current design supports 16 preset locations, with potential for expansion.

Hey everyone Welcome back. After an incredibly long time, I think I've finally come to the end of my player teleportation obsession because after about five redesigns and way too many prototypes, I finally finished the Mirror pylon a device that you can build anywhere
in the world and teleport to at any time with absolutely zero caveats. This device works on single player multiplayer, no matter how many times you've relogged, logged out of the game, unloaded, restart the server, it'll always restart itself and continue to work.
You can also technically build an infinite of them, which means that provided you can get a breeze there, you can build this thing at basically any important location in your world. You can also certainly teleport to it from any unimportant location in the world.
So how do these things actually even work? Well, obviously they use ender pearl stasis chambers, but in order to actually trigger them, you need to look at a very specific point in the sky. I've obviously been using mods to do this,
but it's actually really not that hard to find that angle yourself. Here I'm looking for 65.1, 54.2. Then all I need to do is look straight up to confirm my teleportation. Well, how exactly do these machines even know where I'm looking? Well, the thing is,
is it comes down to a mechanic that's been around for quite a bit. Back when ghasts fireballs were added You've always been able to redirect them using projectiles. However, if you were to change the way you're looking relative to the travel direction of the projectile, then
you might notice some interesting behavior. This happens as a consequence of the fireball not actually caring where the arrow is pointing or where it's traveling, but only where the player is looking when they do actually collide. If we can figure out where
the fireball actually traveled at the point that it's hit by the arrow, then we can know where the player is looking at that exact moment. The only difference here is that we'll be using a breeze because they can generate breeze charges which do similar things without the use
of a player. All they need to do is find an iron golem to shoot at. And also we'll be reusing the same arrow over and over again so we never have to have the player to replenish it. After the breeze charge has been redirected by the player's arrow. All it has to do is pass through
This incredibly small gap right here created by the combination of these blocks and this soul sand And you can see that gap using a texture pack that creates a more accurate reflection of the soul sand’s hitbox. Then all you have to do is hit a similarly tiny gap upwards,
and then the machine will teleport you to it. I went into much more detail about how this machine actually works in the previous video, so I'm not actually going to go over that. But if this machine functions in pretty much exactly the same way as the previous one. How did I end
up with another 30 prototype versions? Well, the reality is that making things extremely reliable is really hard and requires a bunch of really, really complicated changes that would be incredibly boring to fit in the video. I'll probably do a write up of all of that in
the description. So if you're actually interested in the technical details, they'll definitely be there. But at the top of the description will also be all the important things you need to know if you're going to build this thing in actuality. The reason I've decided to call this video,
the transportation revolution, is because there's simply no faster way to get from somewhere to a point that you've already been. It's simply so quick, so efficient, and so easy to construct that it essentially trivializes all other forms of transportation. While this current
design of the machine currently only comes with 16 possible preset locations, which means you can build about 16 of these before you start running out of angles, You can actually just expand the machine to create more of them, and I can write more about that in the description as well.
Anyways, that'll be it if you like other silly inventions, then make sure to check out the rest of my channel or subscribe to the channel in case I make anything down. If you want to build this, make sure to check out the link in the description and also all the information down there. Also,
make sure to check out the discord and I'll see you next time Bye bye.
Heads up!
