The AI Job Replacement Crisis (Real Stories)
Key Insight: AI isn't coming tomorrow, it's already here, firing people.
- Call center automation: A friend programmed an AI agent to do the work of 20 people in one afternoon, leading to mass layoffs.
- High-salary role replacement: An entrepreneur fired a high-paid employee because an AI could complete the task in a minute.
- Trend across sectors: From legal to customer service, entrepreneurs are replacing humans with AI for profitability.
The warning: In 2–3 years, up to 50% of current jobs may be replaced. Those without adaptable skills will be left permanently jobless.
What AI Can and Cannot Replace
AI excels at (your job is at risk if):
- Repetitive, rule-based tasks (e.g., fixing Excel sheets, answering emails, connecting software)
- Making calls or writing standard messages
- Following step-by-step instructions without questioning
- Memorizing information without applied experience
AI cannot do (your competitive advantage):
- Human judgment – discerning right from wrong with real-world experience
- Critical thinking – questioning assumptions, adapting, and making non-obvious decisions
- Personal branding – building trust and connection as a real human (e.g., YouTube authority)
The Only Skill That Will Never Be Automated
Core thesis: Knowledge is free; thinking is priceless.
- Information is now available to everyone. The true differentiator is how you use it.
- The author advocates studying mathematics (Gaussian theory, abstract algebra) as the best way to develop reasoning and decision-making muscles. This aligns with insights from experts on AI and future skills.
- Brain training is as essential as physical fitness, without it, you become cognitively weak.
How to Future-Proof Your Career
- Develop critical thinking – Practice reasoning daily (study math, logic, or philosophy).
- Build a personal brand – Start a YouTube channel, share your expertise, become visible. Understand the broader impact of AI on society and the emerging opportunities.
- Specialize in judgment – Gain experience in a niche so you can make decisions AI cannot.
- Question everything – Avoid blindly copying what works; understand why it works.
"If you are one of those people who know how to think, who know how to reason, you have no idea how easy it is to earn a living online. You really have no idea."
Final Advice: Act Now (Before It's Too Late)
- We are in the adoption window of AI, similar to the industrial revolution or electricity.
- Waiting means your market value reaches zero. Acting now, training your brain and building a personal brand, puts you ahead of 99% of people.
- Two actionable steps: Open a YouTube channel + study mathematics. These are the highest-leverage investments for long-term survival. Stay updated with the top education and skills trends shaping learning in 2026.
Bottom line: AI replaces task-doers, not thinkers. Be a thinker.
Hello. Here I am, working on my laptop using the cloud, living the true life of a digital nomad, at home in Bangkok,
Thailand, traveling the world with my laptop. All I need is my coconut and to head to Bali right now. There is a
topic that has been on my mind a lot lately and I have been thinking about it quite a bit, and that is artificial
intelligence. This is because over the last year I have been very involved in this world of digital business,
entrepreneurship, YouTube, social media , and I am not lying when I tell you that at least every month I hear about
someone who lost their job thanks to artificial intelligence. And this is not an exaggeration. I remember a year
ago I was in Madrid; I don't remember where I was, but the point is that I met a person who basically dedicated
himself to automating the processes of calling people to companies, like the typical call centers, where people go,
take numbers, and simply call people to collect payments or whatever. So this person told me, look, if I programmed
an agent who could do the same thing, that is, he could do the work of 20 people in an afternoon. What happened
was that it actually caused all the people who were there to get fired because at the company level, it really
wasn't profitable for the owner to have so many people since it was already cheaper. And when I went in to see how
it was set up internally, if he had it on his laptop, this friend of mine showed me exactly how it was and he
actually did the job better than people . And when I found out about this, it completely blew my mind, but I just
thought, well, uh, maybe things just lined up, or maybe it was just a coincidence, or maybe it was just for
this particular job. But as time went by, months went by, and then I heard the story of another entrepreneur
friend who realized that he was paying a salary, a high salary to a person to do something that the cloud connected
to artificial intelligence could already do in a minute. So he caused this other person to get fired in a
completely different sector. It was like, wow. Then I heard the story of another person who decided to fire all
the people who weren't really contributing and started doing everything with artificial intelligence
, and so I started hearing story after story after story from different sectors, from different entrepreneurs,
in different niches, and it was like, wow, artificial intelligence is really coming for all of us. And it completely
blew my mind how many people don't take this into account. That is to say, nowadays, let's say, if you go to the
mall, on the street or wherever, and you ask anyone, "Hey, do you know anything about artificial intelligence
or whatever?" At most, they will tell you that they use Chat GPT to do their tasks and little else, but they do not
realize that, nowadays, this intelligence, this technology, is advancing so quickly, it is becoming
very good to the point where it is actually doing the work of many people better than people themselves. And of
course, here we can enter into an ethical, moral debate about whether people should hire robots instead of
people, human rights and all that. That is a debate that I am not going to get into completely in this video, but
think about it from a point of view solely of numbers and profitability and money. Many people, many businessmen,
really find it more profitable to write some codes with artificial intelligence and have it do the work of all those
people. That's why I think that very difficult times are approaching, and this is not an exaggeration. You know
that I am 100%honest in all my videos. I have never lied on this channel and there would be no reason for me to lie
to you, but I simply want to warn you, prepare you for the things that are happening, because right now, in these
months, you may not notice much of a difference; but I promise you that I bet anything that in two years, or at
most three, artificial intelligence will be so widely adopted in the world that, I don't want to give a made-up
percentage, but I don't know, maybe 50% of the jobs we know will have already been replaced. And what happens with
that? That people who don't adapt or haven't developed a new skill will be left without a job outright. Do you see
why on this channel, every single day, I advocate for developing skills, learning math? Well, I always say that
you should learn mathematics, not because mathematics will give you something, or, let's say, a specific
job as a mathematician, but because it gives you the ability to think and reason, which I genuinely believe is
the only skill that will be sustainable in the long term and that artificial intelligence will not be able to
replace in any way. Because the pattern that I have been observing is that jobs that are repetitive and that only
consist of doing things, all that will be outsourced to artificial intelligence. In other words, a robot
will do all that faster. So, this is quite uncomfortable because you have to look at yourself and ask yourself, are
the skills that I have replicable? Can they be performed in an afternoon with an artificial intelligence chat?
Because if the answer is yes, your market value is tending to zero. And if it was already hard for you to get a
job, if it was already hard for you to get a well-paid job, my friend, it's going to get harder and harder. That's
why I like to think that I'm making long-term bets. What things do I think won't change in the long term? That is
to say, what things do I think artificial intelligence won't be able to develop, or at least not in the
coming years? And I think that one of the most important is human judgment, that is, specializing very well in an
area and having the power of knowledge to discern whether something is right or wrong, because today artificial
intelligence is very good at automating processes that are replicable. For example, things like, I don't know,
fixing Excel sheets, answering emails, uh, I don't know, connecting software, doing technical things, it's very good
at it. Or even making calls or writing messages, for example. It's very good at that and I would like to tell you
that college saves you from that, but in reality it doesn't. I mean, I have many friends, many colleagues, whose
things that they actually learned back at the university are things that are truly capable of being replicated. That
is to say, imagine this, let us take an example: imagine that you have two lawyers who have finished their studies
in law. One of them simply knows the things on his exam and that's it. In other words, he knows the information,
but he doesn't know how to do much else . And the other one, on the other hand, not only knows the information, but he
has gained experience, he has been involved in the world, he has the ability to discern when a contract is
bad or good, he has the experience to think about what happens when a client does something. In other words, he
simply has the ability to think and discern. This second person is going to be much more valuable in the long term
and is going to be the person that they are definitely going to hire, while the first person, let's say, is simply
waiting to be told what to do, waiting to receive instructions and waiting for someone to tell them step A, step B,
step C, is going to replace them there 100%. In other words, right now, knowledge is worthless. In other words,
information today is more accessible than ever. In other words, today there is no piece of information, let's say,
a magical secret that if you look at it , it will really change your life, which there is not. All the information
is now on the internet. All the people you meet who make videos on YouTube, on Instagram, telling you that there is a
new technique, a new book or whatever, are lying to you. In other words, everything is available on the internet
. So, it is simply a matter of how you use all that information. What things do I think are not going to change in
the long term, besides the ability to decide and reason? Personal branding, I also think, is a very important asset;
I mean, I'm betting big on the fact that this channel will continue to grow in the long term. I mean, 300,000
subscribers right now, I mean, these are people who already have certain associations with my content, who I am,
the value that I've contributed. Well, let's say, even if an AI comes out tomorrow, let's say, people will always
like to listen to a real human being made of flesh and blood like me, than to a robot. I mean, a robot and I can
give you exactly the same math advice, but why would you listen to me more than to the AI, for example? Well,
because I'm a real mathematician, I don't know, I'm traveling the world and X and Z, I mean, I've done things with
my life and the AI hasn't. The AI is simply a robot that is giving you the information and that's it. But in
addition to your personal brand, in addition to your ability to adapt and think, to reason, because think about
how artificial intelligence works. Artificial intelligence doesn't really invent new things. In other words,
artificial intelligence is simply an input and output machine. Essentially, what it's doing is predicting responses
, guessing responses based on all the data training it's had previously. And this is something that not many people
understand, that is, how artificial intelligence works. It doesn't invent anything new, it doesn't have the
ability to discern when something is right or wrong. And that's your real competitive advantage. Because if
you're one of those people who simply executes tasks without questioning them , who doesn't think about why things
happen, artificial intelligence can 100 %replace you and do things better than you. It's a fact. But instead, yes, you
are one of those few people who have the ability to sit down in front of a piece of paper, for example, to discern
when a logical argument follows from the previous one, to know how to think, to know how to use your brain. I mean,
it surprises me that you are saying something as obvious and evident as, well, use your brain and that's it. But
if you are one of those people who use your brain, my friend, you have a competitive advantage that you can't
imagine. I mean, I give you my word, I'll bet anything you want by telling you that if you are one of those people
who know how to think, who know how to reason, you have no idea how easy it is to earn a living online. You really
have no idea. I'm telling you, I've been involved in this world of entrepreneurship for 2 years now,
making videos on YouTube, making money online. And believe me, when I tell you that if you have a mathematical mind,
if you have the ability to think, you have a huge advantage; because most people in this sector don't question
things, they think there's a magic method, they have a lot of mentality problems and they simply copy the
things that work, thinking that it will work for them too, but they never question things. And that's something
that smells like smoke to me. If you're one of those people who question things , who simply know how to think and use
their brain, seriously, my friend, I don't know what you're waiting for. Start doing something with your life,
start capitalizing on all that intelligence that you have. Seriously, you have one of the most valuable
things and you have one of the strangest things today in this full year 2026, well, 2027, now the ability
to think. That will put you above 99%of people. Come on, I'll bet you anything. Seriously, I'm telling you this from
experience, because I see this over and over again. I hear stories of people who lost their jobs because what they
were doing was very mechanical, very repetitive, and an AI could do it, and of people who, on the contrary, are
progressing very quickly in their business ventures, are making a lot of money because they simply sat down and
started to think. And look, I'm telling you, I'm telling you all this simply for your own good. I mean, I don't
really gain anything by telling you this. I mean, hey, if you want to buy me something right now, anything, you
can't buy me anything. There's no way you're going to give me your money right now. I'm telling you this simply
because I think we're currently in very uncertain times, and over the next few months and years, these types of
stories are going to become increasingly common. Uh, my mother lost her job for this or that reason. Uh, ah
, my friend, uh, was replaced, they made staff cuts for I don't know what, I don't know how much, and college is
no longer a guarantee of anything. So, I advocate for things that will remain the same in the long term, and one of
them is definitely your ability to reason and have critical thinking. And how do you develop critical thinking?
There are many ways, but for me the best is to study mathematics. I mean, 100%, 1000%studying mathematics is one
of the best ways to develop critical thinking. I mean, even though I don't have to study mathematics anymore
because I'm not in college anymore, I still do it. I still study Gaussian theory, field extensions, and abstract
algebra because it helps me think, it helps me make better decisions. So, I really encourage you to study
mathematics, but if you want to do it in some other way, go ahead, but do something that essentially trains your
brain. Just like you see all these fitness coaches on the internet, on Instagram, who tell you to have an
aesthetic body, to train and whatever, train your brain too. I am perhaps the first person on the internet telling
you that you should also have a brain routine. I mean, I have not heard anyone tell you that you have to train
your brain. If there is someone who does that for a living, let them tell me and I would be the first person to
pay for a consultation with that person so that they can teach me how to train my brain. But I am perhaps the only
human being on the internet telling you that you also have to train your brain because it is also a muscle. If not,
you are going to become stupid. Instagram and TikTok's algorithms are increasingly better developed and
better thought out so that you get hooked and simply do not think. On the other hand, your market value will tend
to zero if you only follow instructions and do repetitive tasks. On the other hand, the people who are going to
succeed and survive in the long term are those who know how to think and make better decisions, and this is
something that I also believe is going to happen, those who have a personal brand, that is, those who are not
really invisible to the world. If I had to give you one piece of advice in your situation, it would be to open a
YouTube channel, study mathematics, you will not regret doing either of these two things, 100%. But come on, please
listen to me when I tell you to start investing in this. And think about it, think about it a little. It's like when
the industrial revolution happened, for example, when people started adopting machines or, well, if we take it even
further, we don't have to go to that point. For example, when electricity began to be used, for example, before,
for example, electricity was not used, but rather natural light, candles or gas candles or whatever. The adoption
of technology typically happens very progressively, it is not like it is adopted worldwide overnight, but right
now we are precisely in that window of adoption of artificial intelligence. So , precisely, you are at this point in
time where, let's say, uh, you can wake up and do something with your life and start working right now, or you can
wait until artificial intelligence is so widely adopted in the world that your business value has already reached
zero and you really can't do anything else because, let's say, you have become useless. I mean, it's going to
sound bad, but it is the reality. And I'm telling you all this and I'm really telling you all this for your own good.
I mean, I'm telling you, I don't earn anything for making these types of videos, but I genuinely want the best
for you. Study, use your brain, start studying math, start talking about the things you're doing on the internet,
and simply in whatever you're doing, try to stand out, be the best, and question things. See you later, and
when you're a millionaire, write to me and we'll meet here in Thailand, in Bangkok, and we'll have a coconut in
Bali. See you later. Oh.
AI is already replacing repetitive, rule-based tasks like call center operations, legal documentation, customer service, and data entry. The content warns that within 2–3 years, up to 50% of current jobs may be affected, particularly those that rely on following step-by-step instructions or memorizing information without applied experience.
AI cannot replicate human judgment, critical thinking, and personal branding. These skills require real-world experience to discern right from wrong, question assumptions, and build trust as a real person. They form your competitive advantage because they rely on context, ethics, and human connection that machines lack.
The content recommends studying mathematics (e.g., Gaussian theory, abstract algebra) as the best way to develop reasoning and decision-making muscles. Math trains your brain to think logically, question assumptions, and solve non-obvious problems—abilities that are directly transferable to making high-value judgments AI cannot automate.
The two highest-leverage investments are (1) opening a YouTube channel to build a personal brand and authority, and (2) studying mathematics to sharpen critical thinking. These develop the thinker mindset that AI cannot replace, putting you ahead of 99% of people who remain task-doers.
Personal branding (e.g., on YouTube) builds trust and connection as a real human, which AI cannot authentically replicate. It makes you visible, establishes authority in your niche, and creates a direct relationship with your audience or clients—making you indispensable regardless of automation advances.
Critical thinking means questioning assumptions, adapting to new information, and making non-obvious decisions based on real-world experience—not just following instructions. You can practice it daily by studying logic, philosophy, or mathematics, and by deliberately analyzing why existing strategies work rather than blindly copying them.
We are in a transition phase similar to the industrial revolution or electricity adoption, where early adopters gain massive advantages. Waiting means your market value could reach zero as AI automates more tasks. Acting now—by training your brain and building a personal brand—positions you ahead of the curve for long-term survival.
