In this video, as you all told me in

[00:02]

comments, I'm gonna do everything I do

[00:05]

in my normal life and I'm going to teach

[00:07]

you talking about routine activities and

[00:10]

routin life. In this video, you will

[00:12]

learn these common words and phrases in

[00:14]

English and I will teach you a grammar

[00:16]

which is very useful in conversation.

[00:19]

And in the end of the video, we have a

[00:21]

challenge that I think you will love it.

[00:23]

Let's go.

[00:26]

So, right now, I just woke up and I

[00:30]

usually wake up at 700 a.m. When you

[00:33]

want to talk about the things you do in

[00:35]

your routine life, you use the grammar

[00:37]

of present simple. I know that most of

[00:40]

you know this grammar, but we use it

[00:43]

when we want to talk about our routine

[00:45]

life. And in the end of my sentence, I

[00:49]

said, "I usually wake up at 700 a.m." So

[00:53]

when you want to talk about the time,

[00:55]

you use at and you say the time. And we

[00:58]

use it in the end of the sentence. So

[01:01]

right now, I just woke up. Sometimes on

[01:04]

the weekends, I sleep more. So we we we

[01:08]

call this sleep in. Sometimes in the

[01:12]

weekend, I sleep more. I sleep more than

[01:16]

usual. We call this sleep in. So

[01:19]

sometimes on the weekend I sleep in.

[01:23]

Right now I'm sleeping in, for example.

[01:26]

Yeah. Now, for example, it's Sunday and

[01:28]

I just woke up and it's 900 a.m. for

[01:31]

example. So when you sleep more than

[01:34]

usual, you can say I sleep in. And now

[01:40]

I got up. Now I just got up. I'm getting

[01:43]

up.

[01:45]

And

[01:47]

I'm stretching. I'm stretching. And now

[01:50]

I'm

[01:52]

I'm yawning. I just yawned. Now, like

[01:56]

everyone, I'm getting out of my bed.

[02:01]

I'm getting out of my bed. And don't

[02:04]

forget to tidy your bed. Make your bed.

[02:09]

So now I will make my bed.

[02:13]

I'm making my bed.

[02:18]

So now, as you can see, my bed is clean.

[02:22]

My bed is made. I was making my bed. The

[02:26]

first thing I do after I wake up, after

[02:29]

I get out of my bed, is that I wash my

[02:32]

face and I brush my teeth. So, now we're

[02:36]

going to go into the uh bathroom. Now, I

[02:40]

wear my slippers. These are called

[02:42]

slippers. I wear them. I put on my

[02:44]

slippers. And then I put my toothbrush

[02:48]

here.

[02:50]

I put it here. And then I wash my face

[02:53]

like this.

[02:58]

I also clean my eyes. If there is

[03:00]

anything inside my eyes, I also clean my

[03:05]

eyes and pick I pick my eyes after I

[03:09]

wash my face. I didn't wash my face.

[03:12]

Actually, just for the video, I did it.

[03:14]

After I wash my face, I grab my

[03:17]

toothbrush

[03:19]

and I brush my teeth. I brush my teeth.

[03:24]

For example, now I'm brushing my teeth.

[03:28]

I'm brushing my teeth. So, after that, I

[03:32]

wash my toothbrush.

[03:34]

I wash my toothbrush and

[03:41]

I wash my mouth. I wash my mouth so that

[03:46]

all the toothpaste,

[03:48]

this is a toothpaste. All the toothpaste

[03:51]

is coming out of my mouth. By the way, I

[03:53]

forgot to tell you something. When you

[03:55]

want to put toothpaste on your

[03:57]

toothbrush, you twist the top off. We

[04:01]

don't say open. I twist it off.

[04:06]

I press press.

[04:09]

I press it out. I press it out. And then

[04:14]

I brush my teeth. Usually after I wash

[04:16]

my face and I brush my teeth, I come in

[04:19]

front of the mirror, the console mirror,

[04:22]

and then I look at myself, I brush my

[04:26]

hair.

[04:27]

By the way, this is a hairbrush. Okay,

[04:30]

this is a hairbrush. and I brush my

[04:34]

hair. You know, let me let me be honest

[04:36]

with you. Onethird of my day is spent in

[04:39]

front of the mirror. I don't know why,

[04:41]

but I always come in front of the

[04:42]

mirror. I look at myself. I brush my

[04:45]

hair. I love it. I don't know why. After

[04:47]

I'm done with my hair, um, I usually

[04:50]

take a Q-tip. I take a Q-tip. This is a

[04:56]

Q-tip. I take one

[05:00]

and I clean my ears. I pick my ears.

[05:06]

Now, it's not morning. Actually, I think

[05:09]

it's 700 p.m. So, I'm not going to pick

[05:12]

my ears because I did it in the morning.

[05:15]

The next thing I do is that I check my

[05:19]

WhatsApp because, you know, I have a lot

[05:21]

of students. I have to check their

[05:23]

homework and a lot of you send me

[05:26]

messages for taking lessons. So I have

[05:28]

to reply and respond to your messages.

[05:30]

So that's why after I do everything I

[05:32]

have to do in the morning, I come on my

[05:34]

mobile phone and I check my WhatsApp,

[05:36]

Telegram, and my emails. The next thing

[05:38]

I do after I brush my hair and I look at

[05:41]

myself in the mirror is that I take a

[05:45]

couple of eggs. A couple of eggs means

[05:49]

two eggs. I take two eggs and I fry one

[05:54]

and I boil the other. I don't do this

[05:57]

every day. I'm just doing this for you

[05:59]

in the video to learn these words, but

[06:02]

usually I fry them. I don't boil them.

[06:04]

So, in order to boil an egg, we need a

[06:09]

sauté pan. This is a sauté pan. I take

[06:13]

the top

[06:15]

and I fill it with water. I fill it with

[06:19]

water.

[06:23]

After I do this, I put it in the pan and

[06:27]

then I put it on the stove.

[06:30]

This is a stove. By the way, this might

[06:33]

also be a question for you. We call this

[06:34]

a kettle. We use it for making tea and

[06:39]

brewing tea and so on. So, after I put

[06:41]

it on the stove, I turn on the stove.

[06:46]

When we want to cook something in water,

[06:50]

we call it boil. Right now, I'm boiling

[06:53]

this egg. Now, as I said, I'm going to

[06:57]

fry this one. What is fry? When we cook

[07:02]

something using oil, we call this action

[07:06]

frying. So, I'm going to put some oil in

[07:11]

the pan. So, this is a normal pan.

[07:13]

First, we put the pan on the stove. By

[07:17]

the way, the stove is on. After it's a

[07:20]

little bit hot, it gets a little bit

[07:23]

hot. I'm going to put the oil inside of

[07:28]

the pan. I'm not going to use a lot of

[07:30]

oil because, you know, it's not really

[07:32]

healthy. It's written it has vitamin D,

[07:35]

but still, it's not really healthy. And

[07:38]

then

[07:40]

I'm going to take this egg.

[07:43]

I'm going to try to separate the oil in

[07:47]

every part of the pan.

[07:50]

So I'm right now circulating the oil.

[07:55]

After the oil is hot, I myself I usually

[08:00]

put some salt

[08:02]

because, you know, I don't want the oil

[08:04]

to splash everywhere. You know, if you

[08:07]

don't put it, the oil will splash

[08:10]

everywhere and it will get dirty and I

[08:13]

don't like cleaning everything. So, I'm

[08:17]

doing this to prevent the oil from

[08:21]

splashing everywhere. So, after I do

[08:24]

this, I'm going to crack I'm going to

[08:28]

crack the egg and put it in the oil. So,

[08:33]

I crack the egg.

[08:37]

I cracked the egg. Crack. And I put it

[08:42]

in the oil. After I crack the egg and I

[08:46]

put it in the pan, I stir. This is

[08:50]

called stir. I stir the egg in order for

[08:55]

the egg to be cooked completely. Now I'm

[08:59]

frying the egg as I told you. And right

[09:02]

now I'm stirring the egg. Some people

[09:06]

might call it mix. Mix is also correct.

[09:08]

So now it's completely cooked. So I'm

[09:12]

going to turn it down

[09:16]

and I'm going to serve it. I'm going to

[09:18]

eat it.

[09:21]

By the way, I say I'm going to a lot.

[09:23]

I'm going to is the short form of I'm

[09:28]

going to. We use going to when we want

[09:30]

to talk about the things we're going to

[09:32]

do in the future and we are certain that

[09:35]

we will do them. After an egg is fried

[09:39]

and it's completed, I usually come to

[09:41]

the refrigerator. This is a refrigerator

[09:44]

or we can also call it a fridge, but

[09:46]

usually we call it a refrigerator. And I

[09:49]

take some olives.

[09:52]

We call these olives. I really like

[09:56]

eating olives with eggs. So, I take

[10:00]

olives and I get it prepared here. And I

[10:06]

wait for the other egg to boil. Right

[10:10]

now, as you can see, the water is

[10:12]

boiling. We call this action boiling.

[10:16]

And the egg is cooking. It's getting

[10:20]

boiled. Here we have the laundry machine

[10:24]

or we can also call it the washing

[10:26]

machine. I have some dirty clothes

[10:28]

inside the laundry machine and I have

[10:31]

one here. So I'm going to put it. This

[10:34]

action is called doing the laundry. I'm

[10:37]

doing the laundry. I do the laundry

[10:40]

twice a week. Two times a week. Twice a

[10:43]

week. I use detergent. Laundry

[10:46]

detergent. This liquid is called laundry

[10:50]

detergent. It's like a soap, but it's

[10:53]

used for cleaning clothes. After I

[10:55]

prepare everything, before I eat my

[10:57]

breakfast, before I have my breakfast, I

[11:00]

grab a big glass of water. It is the

[11:03]

most important thing in my life. I drink

[11:05]

water. No tea, no coffee. I grab a glass

[11:08]

of water and I also go on YouTube and I

[11:12]

watch some paddle matches. I love

[11:16]

paddle. And yeah, I wash them until my

[11:21]

food gets ready. Don't forget drinking

[11:24]

water. After it's boiled completely, I

[11:26]

mean the egg, I

[11:31]

empty the pan and then I refill it with

[11:36]

cold water

[11:38]

because, you know, I want to peel off

[11:41]

the skin. It helps me peel it off.

[11:46]

I do this for several times

[11:49]

and then I crack it.

[11:53]

I crack it and I start peeling it off.

[11:59]

See, I'm peeling the skin off.

[12:06]

This is the skin. And I peel it off.

[12:09]

Peel off.

[12:14]

I put the peeled egg inside a plate.

[12:18]

This is a plate. I put it inside a

[12:21]

plate. And I also put the other egg

[12:24]

inside this plate and I then eat it.

[12:27]

Here's my breakfast. Um, I usually add

[12:30]

cheese to my breakfast, too. But today,

[12:33]

I'm not having cheese. It's only egg, a

[12:36]

little bit honey, and Nutella, and uh,

[12:39]

peanut butter. Here is a Nutella. By the

[12:42]

way, I'm not eating them. I just wanted

[12:44]

to tell you in English. This is

[12:46]

chocolate. Breakfast chocolate. Um, this

[12:49]

is honey. You may all know. This is

[12:52]

honey. This is peanut butter. Peanut

[12:56]

butter. I told you it's olive. Um, you

[13:00]

know, right now, to be honest, it's

[13:02]

evening. It's not morning. So, I'm going

[13:05]

to have some ketchup with my eggs. I

[13:09]

take a slice of bread. We cannot say I

[13:13]

take a bread. A bread we never say in

[13:15]

English. I take a slice of bread.

[13:20]

Actually, that was two slices. Now I

[13:22]

have a slice of bread and I put some egg

[13:25]

on it.

[13:28]

I put some egg on the bread.

[13:33]

And then I put some

[13:37]

ketchup. I put some ketchup on it. Two

[13:41]

hours later and then I eat it. I had my

[13:45]

breakfast and now I'm going to put

[13:47]

everything where they were and I'm going

[13:50]

to wash this plate. So, let's go. Before

[13:54]

I wash the plate, I put these stuff I

[13:57]

put the trash in the trash bin and the

[14:00]

trash basket

[14:02]

like this.

[14:05]

And then I close it.

[14:07]

Then

[14:09]

I put it in the sink.

[14:12]

I get

[14:14]

a sponge. Oh, this is a sponge.

[14:20]

I put some soap on it and then I wash

[14:24]

the dishes. This is a spoon. I wash the

[14:27]

spoon first and then I wash the other

[14:29]

things. One hour later. After I wash

[14:33]

them, I put them in the dish rack. This

[14:37]

is called dish rack or we also call it a

[14:40]

drying rack. Dish rack or drying rack.

[14:46]

Finally, after I'm done with everything,

[14:49]

I had my breakfast. I washed the dishes.

[14:51]

Um I did the laundry. Uh I usually chill

[14:55]

on the love seat and I usually play

[14:58]

games. Like for example, right now I'm

[15:00]

playing this game Rebel Cops. Um it's a

[15:03]

strategy game. I really like it. So, I

[15:05]

play games and I chill out.

[15:11]

Now, let's talk about the challenge and

[15:13]

the grammar that I taught. We're going

[15:15]

to talk about first. Let's talk about

[15:17]

the grammar and let me teach you the

[15:19]

grammar. In order to do the challenge

[15:21]

that I will tell you, knowing this

[15:24]

grammar is crucial and essential. When

[15:27]

do we use this grammar and structure? We

[15:30]

use it when we want to talk about our

[15:32]

routine life, our daily habits and the

[15:35]

things that we do usually. Also, when we

[15:37]

want to talk about the things that are

[15:39]

normally true, we can use this

[15:42]

structure. How can we make sentences

[15:44]

with this structure? We make sentences

[15:47]

as easy as possible. For example, I go

[15:51]

to school. This grammar is present

[15:55]

simple. I know a lot of you may know

[15:57]

this, but let's have a quick revision on

[15:59]

this grammar. When you want to make

[16:01]

sentences, you have to use the base form

[16:04]

of the verb, the normal form of the verb

[16:07]

that I know a lot of you know. For

[16:09]

example, go, come, play, speak, walk,

[16:13]

and so on. The important thing is if

[16:15]

you're talking about I, you, we, and

[16:21]

they, you use the base form of the verb.

[16:23]

It's easy. No problem. But if you want

[16:26]

to talk about another person or another

[16:30]

thing like he, she, it, Alex, that dog

[16:34]

or anything like this, if it is only

[16:38]

one, you have to add an s to the verb.

[16:41]

For example, I play tennis. He plays

[16:44]

tennis. I wake up. She wakes up. I get

[16:49]

out of my bed. my mother, she my mother

[16:53]

gets out of her bed. And if you want to

[16:57]

say that you don't do something again,

[16:59]

we say I don't play, you don't run, we

[17:03]

don't speak English. And if you want to

[17:06]

talk about another person or another

[17:08]

thing like he, she, it, or my mother,

[17:12]

that dog, we say doesn't. For example,

[17:16]

that dog doesn't eat food. My mother

[17:20]

doesn't sleep early. She doesn't play

[17:23]

tennis on the weekend. So, this is how

[17:25]

you should make sentences using the

[17:27]

grammar of present simple. It's super

[17:30]

easy. Now, what's the challenge? For the

[17:33]

challenge, I want you to record your

[17:36]

voice and talk about the things that you

[17:38]

do every day. Talk about your morning

[17:41]

routine from the time you wake up until

[17:45]

12:00 p.m. or maybe 300 p.m. until the

[17:48]

time you have lunch. What do you do

[17:51]

between the time you wake up until you

[17:53]

have lunch? Record your voice and send

[17:56]

it to one of these contact informations

[17:59]

below. I will check them myself and I

[18:03]

will give you feedback. So, I hope you

[18:05]

enjoyed this video and it was useful for

[18:07]

you. Don't forget to do the challenge

[18:09]

and tell me in the comments, do you like

[18:11]

this kind of lessons that I also include

[18:13]

grammar or not? Also, tell me about the

[18:16]

challenge. Do you like it? You don't

[18:17]

like it? What do you think about it? If

[18:19]

you want more of this videos and you

[18:21]

want to learn English more and more

[18:23]

every day, don't forget to watch my

[18:25]

other videos and subscribe to my

[18:27]

channel. See you in the next video.

[18:29]

Bye-bye.
