What’s New in LunaNotes: Recent Updates
Over the past few weeks, we’ve shipped a series of updates focused on making LunaNotes more flexible, more intuitive, and even better suited to the way you organize and learn from content. From deeper customization to smoother account management and video workflows, here’s a concise overview of what’s new.
✨ New Features
Enhanced Tag Management with Descriptions and Colors
Tags are now more powerful and expressive. You can add descriptions to provide context and assign custom colors to visually distinguish topics at a glance. This makes large libraries easier to scan and keeps your knowledge base clean and intentional.
New Theme Customization Options
You’re now in control of how LunaNotes looks. Choose between Light, Dark, or System themes directly from settings. Your preference is saved automatically, ensuring a consistent experience every time you return.
Linked Accounts Functionality Added
Managing multiple accounts is now seamless. With linked accounts, you can switch between profiles effortlessly from the UI, making it easier to separate personal, academic, or professional work without friction.
Improved Video Management and YouTube Integration
Our video workflow has received a major polish. The YouTube page now supports infinite scrolling, clearer loading indicators, and a more responsive layout. You can also link videos directly to notes using the new NoteVideoSelector, which includes video search and selection features.
Updated Settings Page and Sidebar
The settings experience has been redesigned with clarity in mind. New tabs let you manage app preferences, subscriptions, credits, and usage in one place. The settings menu is now always accessible from the sidebar for faster navigation.
Google Account Linking and Login Improvements
Google login and account linking have been refined with smoother authentication flows, improved error handling, and conditional feature availability for a more reliable experience.
🔧 Improvements
We also shipped several smaller refinements, including better layouts and scrolling on login and signup pages, updated footer links with a new Terms and Conditions page, and subtle sidebar UI enhancements for clearer navigation.
🚀 Looking Ahead
These updates are part of our ongoing effort to keep LunaNotes lightweight, powerful, and focused on what matters most: helping you turn content into structured knowledge, faster. As always, your feedback continues to shape what we build next.
Stay tuned, more improvements are already on the way.
